April 14, 20188 yr According to His Holiness, The Right Honourable Saint Pep Chelsea and Man Utd were two major clubs to vote against VAR being used next season. Why he has the divine right to tell the world who voted for what I don’t know but anyway... I’m glad we did. It’s not been implimentes well at all, each referee seems to use it differently and it still doesn’t make much of an impact. Until the FA is willing to open referees in the game up to scrutiny then it won’t work properly and continue to frustrate fans inside the stadium.

I definitely think that VAR is not ready and causes more issues than it solves but I think it has to be deployed somewhere to be improved. I think we need to deal with it for some time so we can benefit from it in the future.

These things normally spend a season or two in the lower tiers of our game before making it to the Premier League.

That would be ideal, at the moment VAR can't even get a decision better or faster than the pundits at Sky or BT.

It's seem's to be something that all of the top teams are having trouble with these days. If any of the top 4 teams of the big European leagues came up against any of the big teams from the 2003-2010 era, they would be destroyed. For sure.....they just had more grid.....iron defence and a different mentality. 22 hours ago, Remodez said: Why would UEFA care about Liverpool? Would make more sense for a Bayern v Madrid final. April 14, 20188 yr Just read on the BBC sports feed, he has had the most duels of any player, >20 and won over half of them.
April 14, 20188 yr I see they had a minute's applause for the 96 at Anfield, Is there any remembrance for the Heysel disaster by LFC ?.
April 14, 20188 yr liverpool win the champions league and we make top four, or liverpool not win the champions league and we don't make top four? what's your pick? ha

Will he rise to it or be a bit overwhelmed in Rome? Be interesting to see what sort of reception he is given considering the occasion. Ironically/arguably, Roma appear to be a better team since he has left (some way off the pace in Serie A though). did not tibo play against us?

April 14, 20188 yr pool are playing all of their games at home bar West Brom and us ... And they play Brighton and Stoke at home !!! We'll never finish above them, let's face it ... even with UCL football, facing piss poor dross like stoke... they could field the U17 and still win by a three goal margin against those fckuers FFS !! plus, they only have four games to go ... against the worst possible dross teams in the league !!! No away to leicester, no manure, no everton away, no city, no arsenal ... they 'll finish above us alas! I don't see them suddenly losing 3 out of 4 because of UCL and against sh*t like stoke or brighton at home FFS !!! or West Brom away ... but at least I hope our players will have enough pride to win against these fcukers !!!! So we have to hope for Citeh to win against spuds !! Those mongs have 6 games left to play, including city, brighton and west brom away and they'll play Watford, Newcastle and Leicester at home. This does not look any better since they only have to win 3 of these 6 games to qualify for UCL! So ... they have 67 points, and we have 60 points. this would have, for us qualifying for UCL, to go like this : CFC : 5 Wins in a row ( that's simple hehe) ! Spuds : Loss vs City (realistic) ; Loss vs birghton (that would be a miracle) ; win vs brom (they're utterly dross anyway) ; draw vs watford ( another miracle needed !!) ; win vs Newcastle (Benitez will willingly offer his anus to poch and co to fcuk us over, dirty fat bar steward!!!); loss vs leicester (returning the offer hopefully ... ) after 38 games: spuds with 74 and us with 75!! But spuds would have to lose 3 games OR lose two at least and drawing the rest with one win maximum... Highly unlikely I m afraid. For dippers, here's how it goes : they're 67 points with 33 games. we're 60 points with 33 games. CFC : 5 wins in a row needed again ! Dipers : Loss vs bournemouth at home (miracle needed) ; win vs west brom away (they're sh*te and down in the championship at that point); Win vs Stoke home ( no hope for this one); Loss to us at SB ( miracle needed more or less ^^); draw vs Brighton at home ( miracle needed). this would result in : dippers with 74 points and us with 75!! Some might say : "well, they can afford two wins and a draw and we can still finish above with 5 W in a row" bu they'll also need to lose and draw against either Bornemouth/Brom/Stoke/Brighton at anfailed and we have to win vs them at SB ... Highly unlikely, if not even harder than tiny tots since the latter are more prone to fcuk it up big time ! And since these motherf**kers will be losing vs City today ( HOPEFULLY FFS!!!!) they won't go on a 15 winning streak till the end with that game and Having to play manure Plus having to play 7 UBER important PL in less than month ... And we all know that when a streak of wins end, it's very hard to win 2 in a row again :) !!! Also, the fact they'll have to face somewhat more legit opposition than pool (City, Leicester and Watford hopefully ... I know, right, they may get hammered!) and that the kiss cool effect of losing their momentum will see them fcuk unexceptedly (Brighton ??), makes me think we have a better, however already slim, chance to qualify and finish above spuds than dippers. Again, I might be wrong, but at that point, We're 95% sure of not playing UCL football and are 16th in the 2nd half of the PL. I guess back to back 3 goals losses to Bournemouth and Watford did us for top 4 ... What a shame when you see this is the same team that could have won big against Barça :'( !
