I wish somebody would give Neymar something to actually cry about. If he ever played in the Premier League, he wouldn't survive past the first game.

Was literally about to post this. If Mexico concede another, i'd love someone to just 2-foot him or elbow him in the face.

I'm not usually one for advocating violence, but this guy is such a f**king disgrace.

Brazil are usually a highlight at a World Cup, but I'm really hoping for a repeat of their semi final loss from 4 years ago (Belgium may provide it).  Neymar is the main reason but most of them are involoved in ridiculous play acting too.

The guy did step on his ankle with stud's I don't see why the neymar hate, he does overreact but that was definitely a red card.

PLACED his studs on his ankle, there was almost zero pressure applied. The guy is an absolute toss pot, he acts like he has been stabbed after a little touch.

I hate, absolutely hate, to see soft sh*t like that result in red cards. Yes I'm sure by the laws of the game it should be but all it results in is encouraging the behaviour of Neymar and others who do it.

If he came in and fully stamped on him, yeah give a red card. But for what he actually did, all that's required  from the ref is a quick word with the player, tell him to behave himself and, at worst, a yellow card.

I don't want a return to the days of players kicking lumps out of each other, just want to see refs use common sense and for behaviour like Neymar's punished.

Have a look again you can see the force based on the grass sinking it, he knew exactly what he was doing and got away with it

Funny thing is, when you're really hurt, you tend to stay still. By rolling around, it just shows everyone that he's faking it. Yet he gets away with it time and time again.

Naymar has always been a Little sissy girl......in epl he would not like it.......but then Again it depends who he is playing for. Put him in utd or pool shirt and he will be protected by the refs to high heaven.....never mind the pundits.......

Total over reaction by Neymar, digueting really. However I think the other player had only one thought and that was to provoke Neymar into maybe a physical reaction for a sending off.

As far as staying still when really hurt, that may be in serious breaks and the like but I recently dropped a cement block on my big toe  and I didn’t stay still but by f**k it hurt.

Watched the last ten of the first half and second half.

Thought Willian played really well and possibly MOTM.

Mexico are a tidy side yet never looked like scoring unless with a wonder strike on the counter attack. Physically somewhat shorter than the Brazilians so why they were throwing in crosses from out wide was a little confusing to me.

Brazil looked well organised though do not think they have been tested yet, though the 1/4s or the semi's should do that.

Yes Neymar deserved an Oscar for his reaction to a silly challenge.

Problem is he’s already on the way down as someone gets close to him and rolls about with such vigour you’d struggle to get him while he’s down too.

I would like to start seeing yellow cards for play acting. It is cheating by attempting to get an opposition player disciplined

It would be top of the fans list of things to change in the game, it makes the sport more like panto than opera.

It shows just how much people are fed up with it. Instead of the focus being on Neymar's goal and assist, it's on his acting again. I wonder if Neymar cares how people view him. Just look at Rivaldo now, people think of him faking injury in the world cup in 2002 more than they do his football now. Neymar will be remembered the same way when he retires.

Japan doing well, i liked the way they outplayed ten man Colombia, but like most put it down to the extra man, but their is more to them.

Lukaku has zero football intelligence.

And his ball control is still well below par.

He's an odd player. Sometimes he looks lethal when given the chance, then in games like today he looks like a donkey.

If Belgium lose this, it will be the biggest shock so far, bigger than Spain going out and bigger than Germany going out in the groups.

Big IF, but yes it would. More worryingly for Belgium, they have a defence that is ordinary at best.
