July 2, 20188 yr If Belgium play like this then absolutely, Brazil will whoop them Brazil will whop Belgium on tonight's form.
July 2, 20188 yr Can you imagine Martinez winning the world cup we wouldn't hear the end of it from him 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm not sure, i don't think Brazil have been that good. Switzerland gave them a few problems. I think anybody can beat anybody at the moment, no team stands out. July 2, 20188 yr Feel so bad for Japan, I think they played very well and deserved to win that game. They don't have tall players to keep Lukaku and Fellaini, but I think they must be proud of their performance. Belguim must improve if they want to beat Brazil.
July 2, 20188 yr Only needed to see 5 seconds of that smug Spud c**t Dembele at the end, to really hope Brazil put them out next round.

I posted in the players that have caught your eye thread about Inui, he looks superb. 1 hour ago, enigma said: We need to look at a couple of these Japanese players. Technically they look good. Smart team and tactics. Problem is they are almost all pushing 30 or over it already. I thought Inui was a nice player too but he's already 29 I believe. Him and Sakai would be nice bench options but totally goes against the clubs MO. I'm part Belgian but I found myself really cheering for Japan since I lived there and my wife is Japanese. Gutted for them, they looked much better today.
July 2, 20188 yr Amazing stuff, Japan seemed to have done their homework on Belgium and worked their socks off! Two cracking goals and Belgium were going out. Martinez brought on the heavy artillery with the Little Fella (Fellaini) and Chadli. It seemed to have worked as both scored though with that last corner I thought it was going to be extra time yet another twist and a great goal and I never thought Lukaku would be unselfish like that. Martinez has a problem re Brazil and playing three at the back and fitting De Bruyne , Hazard and Lukaku into a formation that works may be an equation too far. Having said that the looping header and last goal may indicate the football 'gods' are on their side. Edited July 2, 20188 yr by Strider6003
