January 26, 20188 yr it's frustrating because the lwb cover is needed and we've sent kenedy on loan. we have lost one player, but still haven't gotten in another one. whoever is dealing with all this needs to answer to roman because it's tarnishing the club and making a mockery of the situation, which won't help our situation in acquiring new players now or in the future because they won't know what the situation is, what they're signing up for, who will be in charge and so forth. can we not just go a season without the club turning into a circus.

The only media i have seen come out with any details about this deal are the Italians, surprise surprise. When they say it is definitely off, I will believe it. they still arent A lot of it is guesswork, dimarzio seems to be on the money with this. Lets see what he says simon stone and matt law are the more known itks to do with chelsea. if simon stone is saying he's heard the negotiations are mess, i'm swaying to the side of believing him. i don't hope it's true, but too much smoke without fire.

Therefore, chances are the deal is still very much alive. Sky sources are so bad now

I've missed it, I think. I watch the pre-match press conferences and he seems to get asked about transfers over and over again and each time I've seen him, his response has always been along the lines of "Don't keep asking me about transfers, that's down to the club and they'll tell you when there is any news. I am happy with my players and will be happy with any new players the club might bring in" As I say, I have missed any comments about the board over and above that, and I can't see how that could possibly be a problem between Conte and the board.
January 26, 20188 yr i try to keep calm and logical when it comes to our board and transfer dealings, but this window is becoming a calamity. being linked with sh*te on stick players such as carroll and crouch, to then being linked to half decent player in dzeko, but now we're being linked to f**king giroud on loan and kurzawa instead of palmieri. jesus wept, i do feel like banging my head against a wall at times. even i am starting to lose my rag with the whole situation. it's embarrassing to read about the mockery of a transfer window this month has been.

January 26, 20188 yr this is getting out of hand...we can't beat arsenal anymore, conte fights with the board, tottenham got lucas moura, arsenal will get aubameyang, manU sanchez, city walk the league, hazard and tibo didn't sign their contracts (imo they won't anyway with this current mess)....and on top of that we are after joke players like carroll, crouch, barnes, now giroud....this is so depressing... January 26, 20188 yr of course don't take what matt law says as gospel, but he knows more inside info about chelsea than most. even he said previously he still doesn't get all the info, just a small amount to relay Edited January 26, 20188 yr by enigma
January 26, 20188 yr Author I think it's very worrying either way and I think Roman needs to have a good look at the board's transfer businesses because they've neither been effective nor ironically cheap.
January 26, 20188 yr I don’t really know what the situation is, but I know we are desperate for a decent second striker so it’s worth giving in to whatever Dzeko is demanding. I don’t think 2 year is bad at all, even if he declines a lot over the next year he’d still be a handy 3rd striker to have while he’s getting ready for MLS (Apparently he wants to go there after 2 years) Fair enough if Dzeko is demanding a 3/4 year deal but I seriously doubt he is.
January 26, 20188 yr gone: JT, Matic, Diego, Chalobah, RLC (on Loan), Ake, Zouma (loan) In: Zappacosta, Rüdiger, Christensen, Drinkwater, Barkley, Bakayoko, Morata, Willy unbelivable...only Christensen and Caballero were hits...and now all these rumours about the potential new signings...it's like the board accepting trying to be the new arsenal/liverpool (accepting a CL spot at best)

January 26, 20188 yr We'll try to sign Dzeko again this summer but with no CL he'll sign for Liverpool. Edited January 26, 20188 yr by the special one
January 26, 20188 yr I wonder what's being offered to him. Being practically 32 years old it definitely won't be a long contract and the fact that we're paying a transfer fee surely means it won't be a one year deal. I'm guessing it is a 2 year deal with an option to extend for a year which would be fair to him as he is contracted at Roma for another 2 years anyway. If length isn't an issue then it's got to be wages, in this day and age I can totally see us trying to haggle in this area.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't sign for us - he isn't likely to get a better offer or better club going forward.

Well...they've got Firminio, Danny Ings and Solanke I'd say they need another centre forward.
January 26, 20188 yr posturing would be my bet too, like Matt Law. If this was off the Rome based media and outlets would know about it. They all quote SSN. maybe dimarzio or whoever can enlighten us tonight....

Our situation wont get better until the Guys Upstairs are thrown to the Wind by RA.......but I fear we sooner see Chels completely out of it rather than marina getting fired.......sad so sad.
