Must say getting both for 44m really is a shrewd bit of business, I just hope Palmieri is as good as he's hyped to be.

Im not as sure about him as others, never really thought he was that special to be honest but if he comes he will strengthen the squad.

I feel the same way. He's a better choice than the likes of Crouch and Carroll, but i don't think he will make that much of a difference to us, especially as he is soon to be turning 32. 

I'm more interested in Palmieri. People have been talking him up as one of the best LB's in Serie A, let's hope he is as good as people think he is.

Guys, this deal isn't done yet.
The biggest stumbling block for this deal was always the personal terms between the player, not the club.

I remember James Milner doing the same when he went from Villa to City. Even though it was practically a done deal he still played one last time for Villa. I’m pretty sure he scored aswell. Said goodbye to the fans at the end. Really professional.

If so, this must be a hell of signing for you as a Bosnian Chelsea fan.

This guy apparently is a Bosnian journo, so I guess he's reliable about Bosnian players?

He's pretty much an icon in entire country, even for us fk sarajevo fans and somehow i sensed him comming to London becouse I registered on this forumonly two days before media said we were negotiating with roma for him. 

And yeah, bosnian media is on fire tonight, they got the info before sky sports that they agreed the terms.

his agent needs his visa too doesn't he?  He cant enter england to complete the deal because of it, i read somewhere

I like this signing if it goes through as it appears it may be. He has always been someone that gives a 100% and has many different skill sets, ie can score with his head and feet. 

This is a big upgrade over Batshauyi, though I like Michy, he just does not have what it takes in the PL, at least not yet.

Improvement over Batshayui, he was one of the names I would have chosen to backup Morata, although I have to admit the more time I've had to think about it and watch clips online, I'm not 100% sure any more. But if it's only for a couple of years, it should be all right.
