After last night, I can't really get myself in the mood for this one. If Ajax win, then great, Spuds ending up suffering, but at the same time, I can't see Ajax touching Liverpool in the final.

Unlike Barca, Ajax went for goal from the off.

Everything with Ajax looks so clean. Their movement, passing and finishing is top class.

I assume the club is keeping tabs on Erik Ten Hag.
Mightily impressive what he's doing with this Ajax team. Tadic was an alright PL-player but he's looked world-class for them this season.

Looking at Ajax today and Liverpool yesterday one thing that sticks out that we lack is desire and workrate. It's quite fascinating the way the press and run without pause.

If we get this transfer ban suspended, I think we should break the bank for De Ligt. He may not sign for us, but it's worth a try, and we won't be able to make any signings the summer after so we need to build for next season and the season after in one window.

Absolutely. I don't think he's going to come here as he can have his pick but for his age he might be the best CB ever. I certainly can't remember anyone else being this good at 19.

I also don't think the club would pay the required fee even though it would have been a good choice to do so. Even as an investment. We buckled at 75 million for Van Dijk and now a year later you couldn't get him for 150 million.

Also with Ajax, when in possession their constant movement, giving the man on the ball an option to pass to..and it's attacking movement, so they can play forwards, not just sideways.
