I've yet to see anyone posting consistently on or about twitter that has proven to be more accurate and reliable than educated guesses.  As I said previously, make enough guesses and you are eventually BOUND to get one right.  Doesn't mean anything other than random odds.

You know how many times someone like that Simon Arse bloke has been quoted in here in the Sarri thread as twitting "It's happening in the next couple of days" or things like that.

I know the whole 'its happening in a day' stuff is guess work but there is weight behind the original rumours. People aren't just saying Jorginho to Chelsea for the fun of it, there is information there for us all to know about it almost 24 hrs before ADL has come out and near on confirmed it in a press conference. Its not just pure coincidence the Jorginho rumours have all of a sudden came to light.

No, I know there were the rumours, but I have yet to see or hear of a consistently accurate and reliable twitter reporter.  It started as educated guesses, and may not even happen yet, but I could probably have tweeted something along those lines.  Would that make me a reliable source if it happens?

 

(Edit to say)  If there is such a consistently accurate and reliable Twitter source, I would honestly love to know who it is.  I will accept that I don't have the greatest in-depth knowledge of the world of twitter, but none of the many hundreds of twitterers posted in this forum have ever been any more than just guesswork or throwing so much stuff out that eventually one bit of it turns out to be almost true.  Some of them might well have posted something that turned out to be true in the end, but none consistently so over and above statistically dubious guesswork.

Depends if you did it consistently, had contacts at the club, got very little wrong etc.

As it happens I have a friend who works in a relatively senior position at the club.  She know no more than I do about the manager, transfers, contracts or staff.

She gets me loads of freebies, though.

They have more in common with their rivals than they realise. United and City fans seem to have a habit of saying a player is sh*t when a player picks another team over theirs. United fans said Hazard wasn't as good as Kagawa  they are also now saying Griezmann is sh*t after he chose to stay with Atletico Madrid.
