Jorginho

I don't see our lot saying a player is good one second and then sh*t just because we haven't signed them.

Au contraire, I see it all the time on all of Chelsea' forums. Our fans are just as bad as every other clubs fans (maybe not Liverpool) when it comes to transfers. I've seen it for years from all fans. No club has better fans than any other!

Koulibaly will stay in Napoli. I think Jorginho will be the only one from there. Hysaj is nothing special, Azpilicueta is better than him. I hope Chelsea will sign a new goalkeeper (Courtois isn't the ideal goalkeeper for Sarri's teamplay) rather than Higuain or Rugani.

Jorginho is apparently back in Italy already...signed a contract and will be back soon for his medical.

Or he didn't even go to London today and it was always planned for tomorrow.

Apparently he’s in Milan and will fly out tomorrow, possibly announced tomorrow but my guess would be Friday.

Oh there is a surprise, everyone of them have a affiliation to Man City.  Never over until he is holding the shirt but this smacks of City trying to save face.

If City were still in his agent would be saying 'nothing is agreed with anyone';  and ADL would not come out and be so insistent that Jorginho is ours.

Sorry but for some reason I am wanting to believe dimarzio, Pedulla and every other single Italian media outlet/journo over those 3 City plums

And it was DiMarzio reporting this, so it is most likely true.

Could mean we are indeed signing Golovin, so if the Jorginho rumors prove true, we would have Golovin-Jorginho-Cesc-RLC-Bakayoko-Kante-Barkley-Drinkwater

At least 2 must be sold or loaned out.

Apparently Jorginho is getting the number 8 so may mean that Barkley is going out on loan. I think Drinkwater is gone too even tho I’d like cesc gone but on one is going to buy him

Courtois has to go regardless we can’t lose him on a free next year

Simon Johnson is reporting so we are getting closer.

Matt Law, Dom Fifield and Johnson seem to be the go to guys for Steve Atkins, so once they have something it's normally pretty close to the truth (or at least what the club want out there).

Napoli’s lawyer is quoted as saying:

“Today or tomorrow Sarri could sign, it’s close and is about to happen. As for Jorginho, he preferred Chelsea to City because of the destination and also because Sarri will be there with the Blues, it’s practically all done.”

So Napoli's lawyer, dimarzio, Fabrizio Romano, Pedulla, ADL all say hes joining us, but City fans still think he might be going there because none of 'our' journos connected to the club have confirmed the medical.

Apart from Simon Johnson of the Standard.  I admire the amount of straws they are clutching... albeit nothing is done

The price they are talking about in Italy seems just crazy emoji15.png good player and he knows Sarri but 65m?
You must be kidding me, the world is going mad

With the inflated market these days, I actually don’t think it’s that crazy of a price for one of the best deep lying playmakers in the world.

I agree at city he would have started ahead of fernandinho. He is a touch of class him with kante and golovin next year could be brilliant. What a difference to this year in the middle.

He is not one of the best deep lying playmakers in the world. Prior to this move, most of us had no idea who he was aside from FIFA 18.

Just because you don’t know about him, doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the best.  Unfortunately (well, maybe fortunate for us now) Italy missed the WC, where we could have seen his talents first hand.
