What if he comes back and plays a blinder in the absence of Mendy.  I bet Frank would consider reinstating him!

Guess we won't have to worry about that

Feel sorry for him it must feel horrible having every fan pundit ex players and ex coach’s saying your a comedy act when your actually a professional athlete. He isn’t up to it and lampard got it wrong thinking he could start today he is damaged beyond repair mentally he needs a good few months out the spotlight.

As bad as Zouma's backpass was, that was still a ball the keeper could've easily claimed. Kepa sh*t himself and pulled out then made a pitiful slide tackle...

f**king hell, why does Frank even f**king play him? Cab should always play over Kepa ALWAYS

Kepa is bad, everyone can agree on that. But keep in mind that he saved 2 clear-cut chances in this game. That shows that Christensen is really a weak defender, the only constants in our bad defending have been the following: Kepa, Alonso, Christensen. Alonso is gone, Kepa makes 2 great saves to deny 2 more goals, still concedes 3 goals. Christensen? Does nothing to affect our defending.

Christensen and Kepa have to go, that should be agreed by everyone. I'm surprised there are people on here who still rate Christensen.

And he's only played 3 games 🤢

They along with Rudiger should be nowhere near the team, and they won't be if other players stay fit. The three of them have been a part of some of the worst defeats in our modern history.

I don't blame Frank at all besides the Kepa situation. I think Cab should always play over Kepa because he's just that bad. As for the CB choices today, that can't be blamed on him with Silva out.

Pretty much sick of critisizing kepa, its too easy, but what sort of challenge was that for the 2nd goal. Yes it was an awful back pass by Zouma, and he wasnt favourite for the ball, but at least force the player wide. It went straight though him. Imagine that was an outfield player that made that 'challenge'. He just had to stand his ground, but he pulled out the challenge like a 16 year old spanish winger making his debut in an old firm derby!

We’re doing great there. I’d like to see us displace Bailly.
Can some email or carrier pigeon that to frank?

I actually think he was favourite for the ball.

If he had run out with the intention of clearing the ball he'd have comfortably got there first.

Kepa was the clear favourite for the ball and actually got there first and you'll see in the clip above. Adams is still a yard or two away when Kepa gets there.

Only for Kepa to let the ball go through his legs. It's a massive mistake, again.

Your probably right tbh.

He’s a disgrace. There is no defending him. He deserves all the stick he is getting. Goes back to his Carling cup tantrum. I want him out the club, let alone the team. Worst player in our PL history.

Another thing: Why the hell is he going with his feet first when the ball bounces off the post there? You are the only Chelsea-player who's actually allowed to use his hands and he dives in studs first like some complete amateur.

He could have had that ball there too if had wasn't a wuss. Afraid to hit the post i suppose.

Buy him out of his contract and send him back to Spain.

It's hard to understand how someone known for being decent to good with his feet has turned into this mess he is today.

Kepa was never a great shot stopper or good at commanding the box but he was solid and rarely had these huge errors he seems to have regularly this season.

I might have forgotten stuff but I can't remember him having these issues clearing the ball under Sarri and also during most parts of last season. Sad to see that his lack of self-confidence has impacted him so hard.

I feel like last season he was often critisized too harshly and then his form just kept getting worse and worse and this season he is just completely lost. We have to play Caballero and loan him out to regain confidence. The way he was attacked and mocked for questionable games last season seems to have become a self-fullfilling prophecy with Kepa because this season he is indeed shocking.

Confirmed, Kepa cock up, why is anyone debating it, we don't need evidence, but here it is for those that want it.,..............

Yes Spains number one GK is our worst player in PL history. You must be right. 🤣

Are you watching his performances or reading the stats? What he does for Spain has no bearing on that. Continues to cost us points - but go ahead and ignore that.
Subjective for sure, but he’s right up there with Bakayoko. If you can name a more damaging player to Chelsea in PL I’ll eat my words!

The reason why Kepa is as bad as he is now is not entirely his fault. He was decent during Sarri's reign and most parts of Lampard's first season. He got attacked so harshly for questionable goals and lost confidence because of irrational people like you who call him the worst player ever.

It is not his fault we overpaid hard for him and it's also understandable that playing behind the likes of Rudiger, Christensen, Zouma, Marcos Alonso, Emerson and rookie Reece James while conceeding a lot of goals will not help him. Kepa was often critisized too harshly and I totally understand that a human being will start to question himself when thousands of people bash you for every little mistake you make week in week out.

I don't regularly follow Span but the fact that he is still their number one GK should be enough to understand his trouble is not just due to him being the "worst player ever".

Unfortunately it is too late now and Kepa should be dropped to protect both Chelsea and him from further damage. Bookmark this post and re-read it in a few months when Mendy is the next "worst GK ever".

You’re too soft on him. Assessment of his performances isn’t irrational. We are dealing with facts here. Look at his expected saves last year. Should have prevented 12 more goals.
Maybe his confidence is shot, but they’ll be no coddling of him from me. He’s awful - sorry if that upsets you and him. We all have our weaknesses - his happens to be goalkeeping.
