October 20, 20187 yr We need to put Giroud on at halftime, Morata is absolutely f**king things up left right and centre here.
October 20, 20187 yr was hoping and thought Morata would be coming into this game with a little more confidence after scoring in back to back games before the break. But lord have mercy he is pitiful. He's just moping around on the pitch. Going down every time he gets the ball with a defender on his back, no energy, not finding/running into spaces. Giroud needs to come on soon because at least he'll put in the work. Thought overall the first half was pretty dull and we need to step it up in the second half. Idk if its the early start time or coming off the international "real" but there was a real lack of energy from the players and the fans
October 20, 20187 yr this is the worst United team I've ever seen. We gotta kill the game with 2nd and 3d, cuz should they equalize, I'm going to lose my sleep.
October 20, 20187 yr It would really f**k me up if we somehow let them in......just a bit more and we will cruise this with ease. No way we can let them back in, they deserve Jack sh*t.
October 20, 20187 yr Satisfactory first half. but I would like to see more happening in and around there box
October 20, 20187 yr everybody slahing morata, yes dreadfull in offence but he had some crucial clearings out of the box
October 20, 20187 yr Part from 1 free header from Lukaku that went wide I would say that our defense was solid in the first half.
October 20, 20187 yr Leading one-nil to Utd at half time and the typical reaction here is ‘meh’. Seems about right.
October 20, 20187 yr We have two yellows going into 2nd half with one goal lead. Utd will be better 2nd half perhaps that will open up in our favour. Would like to see Giroud on early rather than later.
October 20, 20187 yr First half as predicted. Man Utd playing with a back 6 when Martial and Rashford play as wing backs, and then counter attacking. IMO Man Utd lucky that either Matic or Young have not picked up 2 yellows.
October 20, 20187 yr Morata has offered zero in 45 mins, he's giving their defence an easy break really, Giroud would process more ball and keep moves alive, Sarri will surely see he is the better option for the 2nd half.

We've battered them quite honestly, the commentators and pundits will say different, Gary Neville is praising United for a w**k performance as usual. But Morata is going down all the time and it's only helping United, Giroud will cause United more problems and if we risk this game on Morata gaining confidence then we might actually not win it.

October 20, 20187 yr Otherwise very happy for Rudiger scoring, I have seen him doing well in the box before and just felt that this could be his time to score, thank you Conte for this signing he gives his all every game. Second half should be easier to attack cmon we are not Newcastle...
October 20, 20187 yr They look like they can nick one. So we need a second and a third. Willian and Morata have been weak. Pedro and Giroud on second half. Squeaky bum time coming up.

The guy doesn’t get it I love Neville outside of United, but on United he can't hide his bias that well, plus he's always been a Jose fanboy. Anything United do he'll praise, when they lost to Tottenham he praised United for being really good in attack, if they lose today he'll praise United for "nullifying" Chelsea's attack. If only we had pundits like that, that would constantly try to take the pressure off us and defend us day in day out.
October 20, 20187 yr I'm surprised that Sarri even started Morata for this game. Giroud would have been the more obvious choice.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. We should be happy with that half and the score line. I agree that this seems like a game where Giroud’s physical presence and superior link up play would be better suited to whatever Morata is supposed to be doing.

He'll get sacked in the morning and it would be WW3 on social media twitter since all the UK see us worse than fricking Jimmy Saville ... That and the "no history" chavski, plastic bs.
October 20, 20187 yr I would keep Willian even if he has been a bit below average though, he did assist from the corner and maybe we can expect more space in attack in the second half.
