Sometimes he could maybe do with stepping back and seeing the bigger picture which would hopefully come with more experience. But then what the f**k do I know, I’m just a fat useless sh*t who couldn’t trap a ball rolled gently towards me! Sometimes we have to believe what we see rather than what we think.e

July 23, 20205 yr I'm happy for him as he was struggling a bit before the lay-off. Bags of potential there, and as usual written off by some before he kicked a ball for us. ' sancho's pushed him out of the dortmund team so why would we go for second best blah blah'
July 23, 20205 yr Hazard in disguise? Been our best player by far since the restart and also very consistent, very happy for him! Our attack next season is going to be crazy, if we sort out this defence we will be competing for top honours
July 23, 20205 yr The Run For Tammy's Goal, Reminded Me A Bit Of Hazard's Goal Against West Ham, That Quick Initial Burst Of Pace, The Quick Movement Of The Ball, Then At The End To Find The Pass For The Goal Was Amazing
July 23, 20205 yr Fantastic player. Had faith in him since he signed for us. The assist for the second goal were levels above anything Willian ever did for the game and Pulisic came on for just 2 minutes at that point. Bloody awesome that. Then, his goal was something special for me, chest it with back to goal, one touch brings it down, then bangs a rocket in. Tammy wishes he can be that composed with his back to goal.

July 23, 20205 yr He's surprised me, to be honest i think he's surprised everyone with his performances. He's been absolutely brilliant and it's easy to forget he's still 21. Could go on to become one of the top players in Europe. Very, very excited to see him with the likes of Werner, Ziyech and hopefully Havertz next season.

When I was saying that he is projected to be the next big star some were brushing it off and even said that we only signed him because of marketing...Next season with Ziyech,Werner and Havertz he will be on fire.

Nobody could have expected that, and based on what he has shown up to that point, I think it was fair to be skeptical. Writing him off that early wasn’t the way to go though, we agree there.

I think alot of people looked his numbers and automatically assumed he wouldnt be able to improve on them significantly in a tougher league. I was always pretty confident he could become a decent source of goals, as his record for the national team was decent, and i have family who coach in the states, and they have been gassing him up for 5 years. Probably would have prefered pepe at the time though, as i thought Hazard might stay, but now Pulisic has adjusted to the pace and physicality of the league, he is going from strength to strength. Its about time we got something for our money though, it seems to be the bigger the transfer fee, the harder the flop. We need this new trend to continue with the inevitable splurge we are about to make this summer.

Why risk him? Lampard isn't immune from criticism and should be called out when he screws up. The injury excuse is bullocks.

It's a tactic - Super Frank still believe he could get a result - within 10 minutes of bringing on Pulisic, CHO & Abraham, Chelsea scored 2 goals - ever heard of the theory of bringing on fresh legs to go against tired legs? If you only played FIFA & not the real game, then you probably don't know.
July 23, 20205 yr Pulisic should have started. Easy call if he’s available. It’s do or die (or hope LC lose.)
July 23, 20205 yr I doubt there are too many times when a guy too injured to start goes in in the 60th minute down 4-1. Like in history.

I know what you're saying and I would like to see Pulicic start every game, as he looks to be getting better and better. But you have to trust the coaching staff and Pulicic has had a few niggling injuries this season. With the new season likely to start in a few weeks, they are probably trying to protect Pulicic a bit and were maybe hoping to throw him on second half against more tired legs with a result still a possibility. As it turned out we were in danger of a complete hiding (at 4-1 I did fear it could end up 7+), so Lamps made the changes and to be fair they worked and we made a real game of it. Questionable decisions but we have to trust the coaches. 100% certain he will start v Wolves and here's to him being the match-winner. Edited July 23, 20205 yr by Nibs

Pulisic literally would've wiped Liverpool as he did Man City in the first half. In fact, the two goals proves he should've started and Chelsea could've won that game. Your best players don't start on the bench. Should Liverpool bench Mo Salah, Firmino and Sane and bring them on against tired legs? Should Messi start on the bench? Quite asinine logic really.

I really hope it was the few niggling injuries. I just feel like the kid has to pull a master class to keep his place, while Mount keeps his place with spotty performances (don't get me wrong, Mount has been great this season). I feel the same for Tomori. Frank was quick to turn on him after a few off performances, despite the injuries (while Rudiger and Christensen continue to make fools of themselves). I just question is man management. At this point, would it be nice to have David Luiz? I take Luiz over Christensen and Rudiger any day. Lampard pushed him out also...
