There is absolutely no way any player other than Rashford is winning that, regardless of how good they've been this season.

Rapinoe winning the top award despite playing a tiny number of games has soured me on all these awards.

Me too.

Although TAA will win it

Realistically young player should be given to a player who is 20 and under on the 1st day of the season for me. Too many established players get this award now.

Raheem sterling won it last year.

How does he get left off today?  Baffling.

Probably because he has been getting over a knock and Lamps wants him fit for the final game against Wolves whereas tonight was always gonna be tough to get points from.

It's His First Season, He Wasn't Great Early On, But He Seems To Be Going From Strength To Strength.

I Honestly Can't Wait To See Pulisic Werner And Zeiych Together

Doesn’t Matter If We Concede Five If We Score 6!

Then why bring him on down 4-1?  Seems mutually exclusive.

I really think the manager out thinks himself sometimes.

CP gets knocked off the ball sometimes, but come on.

I‘d think Frank was thinking as a player first, if he’d been playing in a team that performed like that against Man United he’d be expecting everyone to get a start in the next match. Sometimes he could maybe do with stepping back and seeing the bigger picture which would hopefully come with more experience. But then what the f**k do I know, I’m just a fat useless sh*t who couldn’t trap a ball rolled gently towards me! :laugh2:

I could trap it by falling all over it.

Looks excellent at the moment. He also has the unusual benefit of being good at basically everything as a forward*.

He will also leave our opposition in fear of the unique shame of being beaten by an American at football.

*other than lacking Giroud's looks

I'm surprised he has kicked on as much as he has in his first season at the club. I thought his goals and assist numbers would be about the same as his Dortmund numbers, but he's into double figures with goals and assists this season. It's pretty impressive for somebody that has missed a chunk of the season because of injury and has only started half of our league games.

If he had an injury free season, I think there is a chance he would have been our player of the season. If people did vote for him, I wouldn't mind. Kovacic, Mount and Abraham are probably the 3 that have the best chance, but all 3 of them have been in and out of form, so for me, I don't see why he shouldn't be in with a chance.

I will be jaw on the floor shocked if Willian doesn't get it this season.

I know attackers always get most of the points when it comes to awards, but I think Azpi has been the unsung hero for me. He's been consistent throughout the year, extremely dependable, and a solid leader on the pitch. He's deserving of the armband and worth a shout out for POTY.

As a supporter of Pulisic, I am extremely happy to see CHO and James looking for Pulisic today when they have the ball. It seems Pulisic is starting to earn his mates' confidence, that's very important for him to be able to succeed with Chelsea.
