Nah first thing is to announce the new signing of Romelu Lukaku for the Chelsea reserves for the remainder of his 4 year contract. If he misses any training session or game for reasons other than sickness and injury he gets fined.

Certainly seems disruptive at this stage of the process. However this has only come to public light today. Perhaps Ratcliffe approached Roman and Raine behind the scenes a while back. Either way I think it Boehly is in a very strong position. His team met with all the key stakeholders associated with the club and by all accounts left a great impression in each case.

Prefer the Ratcliffe bid if I’m honest but Boehly consortium seems fairly promising with the ideas and track record with the dodgers.

Boehly for me.  Been as upfront as anyone throughout the process and manages his sports teams with winning intent.  To me, that is the closest anyone comes to Roman's ambition.

Ratcliffe will attract great attention for living in Monaco and not paying his fair share of taxes as judged by the court of public opinion!

Boehly for me means we remain a cup side and top 4 side with CL.

Radcliffe means we aim to win the league and CL every year.

Not sure on the ethics of this late bid as some of you say this has come from left field and looks like gazumping.

For me it does not matter who wins we won't be beating Pool or City to a title unless both are ravaged by injuries. 

Overall those teams spend money wisely and we waste it on dross for the most part. 

That and Klopp and Pep have those machines perfect, while they are there we won't be ahead of them.

Boehley has been the most sensible and straightforward all the way through. I’m pleased it’s looking like they will taking over. Of course, it won’t be the same as Roman. 
 

I know you’re not allowed to say it but I feel for Roman getting caught up in all of this. On a football scale, he loves Chelsea and you can see how much it means to him. Will miss the guy. He demanded that winning mentality from everyone at the club. It starts at the top and he’s a winner. 
 

At least he got to go out as World Champion having won everything. Incredible achievement.

They had no CBS worthy of the name for most of the season. Same happens again and they lose all 4 of Gomez, VVD, Konate and Matip without replacements for most of the season then for sure we can be ahead of them

Agree on both counts. Since it came out he had to leave my love for the game has diminished and the way we went out to Real only deepend the blow.

Lot to like about the BWG bid, not least they were out there first and have connected very much with the fans.

Likely before then but yes that is the "must be done by" deadline.

Too early to say mate, best to be optimistic since no one can truly say what will happen. Let's think logically for a minute, who spends £3.5bn on a football club just to do a glazers and only look to make a small profit annually and not actually care about sporting success? 

Also Radcliffe is a utd fan so I won't be losing any sleep. If Tuchel receives a similar deal to Klopp regarding working conditions then we're absolutely fine.

Fun fact about Jurgen that some people don't know, when he signed for Liverpool in 2015 he was given one task. Bring regular champions league football to Liverpool. FSG believed that was all that mattered, consistent top 4 which would be quite profitable for their cause.

To reiterate FSG did not care about winning the league or the champions league, sure doing it would be great but in their eyes success was measured through finishing top 4. Klopp being the try hard that he is, did not accept this and worked hard to establish the club to it's current standing.

Contrasting with Pep, Klopp has to live within his means when it comes to transfers. Yet he still gets the players he wants. This is not a hard model for us to copy, but it is essential our Scouting and recruitment are on the same wavelength as TT. 

We finally have another world class coach one who can challenge the duopoly of Pep and Jurgen who have had 5+ years to create their teams and between them have 1 champions league in that time period. Which TT has equalled in under a year. 

We have a lot to be optimistic about, whilst the stadium will be a sizeable chunk out of our budget that may not be for a while. Following City and Liverpool and making our own model should be Todd's main play, and that is Trust Thomas Tuchel and give him who he wants.

Have to see how TT does with this mate. I don't believe he had the full support of PSG while he was there regarding transfers and he has not had it here either imo.

2 windows,  only Lukaku to show for it and AC and Rudiger lost when he wanted them to stay.

So hard to know how good TT will be in the market of given a controlling say over it.

Either way we will need to have patience with the new owners and TT, cannot expect us to be title challanges for 3 or 4 years imo however we must maintain our top 4 place.

The Ratcliffe bid was hot bullsh*t, coming in the 13th hour with a monster bid even though he already owns another European club. Well at least we all know what Ineos is now.

It was disrespectful. To Roman, to our fans, to Raine, to the others bidders, to our club in general and to the UK government.

Was treating us like a holiday home in the alps, which he first turned down and then at the last minute decided "you know what that might be nice to have".

He has so much money, if he really wanted to buy us then he would behave moved sooner.
