Competing briefs are already out so seems very, very real to me. Latest brief from Camp Boehly by Matt Law (who's confirmed to have direct access to that camp through Goldstein) is very interesting and quite scary.

For what its worth I am camp Boehly all the way here and I hope him and his side wins this power struggle. Clearly going to be a massive story going forward though that could disrupt our season again.

Good. Ideally the civil war brings casualties on both sides and allows the big by Sir Martin to be revived and we become a football club again.

Or better yet Roman buys us back, but we know that is not possible.

Maybe Todd can go get some rich middle east guys to buy out Clearlake

Doesn't matter. The amount we are allowed to spend won't change whoever the owners are.

But the amount that will be taken away from the club in profits for American investors will probably be less with Middle East investors.

So disregard my opening sentence!

 🤣

Todd AND Clearlake together have been a disaster for Chelsea..

Todd brought in Clearlake almost on the deadline for bids.

He brought an America investment group whose first duty is to make money for their investors

As an individual he might well be prepared to lose his money as the price of owning and funding parts of the club

Unlike an investment group..

Personally I would prefer Todd , but what another f**k up for us fans to endure.

Come on you BLUES!

Can't tell who's better, but it's probably for the best if one side goes away. Too many cooks in the kitchen.

It's a shame because I have a feeling this will drag on and become this season's circus. That's all the media is going to be asking Maresca about and it will be brought up after every bad result.

Todd f*cked this up bringing in Clearlake.

I won't feel happy to have Todd remain, but I will take him over Clearlake as it is crystal  clear all they care about is making money off us.

Hope our fans home and away get on Clearlake and Eghbali back as much as Newcastle fans did with Mike Ashley.

Don't expect it though.

I reckon Todd/Walters and Clearlake are already fighting to buy out Hansjorg Wyss, and I doubt he will turn down a chance to make a bunch this quickly off his investment.

Todd can't afford it! He'll just get a payoff and it's business as usual at the circus! Not sure why it's all going off over it!

I could be wrong, but it seems Boehley was more waiting to sign established players, then when Eggbahi took more control, it's become all about 100 brazilians for every position.

🚨 “I’m told although Boehly agrees with Clearlake on buying young, multi club, data and those sorts of things, he doesn’t want recruitment feeding up to an owner, he would prefer one sporting director with autonomy. Egbhali disagrees and prefers two sporting directors feeding up to him so he can remain hands on. (@JacobsBen via @TheByline__)

Chelsea technical staff are still working on finding the best young talents in world football despite reports of a potential CIVAL War between owners. In case the strategy changes, I will let you know. (@FabrizioRomano) #CFC

Todd Boehly is pushing to buy out Clearlake Capital. Clearlake have no intention to sell. Boehly has grown frustrated with the inability to progress on stadium expansion and building the Chelsea brand. (@FT)

Todd Boehly is prepared to raise over 2.5 billion pounds in order to get full control of the club. That would mean a club valuation of close to 4 billion, close to double the 2.3 billion Clearlake - Boehly paid for it. (@JacobsBen @GiveMeSport)

Boehly would like the situation resolved quickly. (@JacobsBen) #CFC

The problem with billionaires is that they won’t want to lose. They don’t take to it well.

Egbhali also appears a determined man as in the case of Enzo Fernandez deal. Hard to see it being resolved.

Since the first transfer ban this club has been absolutely madness. And it wasn’t exactly calm before that.

Buckle up, and hopefully this doesn’t impact the staff, players and results. I mean, they can’t get much worse anyway!

“Relationships First Strained with Clearlake view in the failure on the window with Tuchel and the signings of Sterling etc. Boehly was the figurehead leading this recruitment, and Clearlake put all accountability on him. He was outed and called out in meetings. This is when relationships started to so. I don’t not think they will see eye to eye again”

“Remember the Marquee, Superstar signing stemming back from wanting Ronaldo in 2022. That’s all Boehly, Egbhali views are the complete opposite.”

“Clearlake will Try to Buy Todd Out. Boehly will fight for his ownership he will not walk away lightly #CFC“

If Todd raises enough dosh through his contacts Clearlake will sell. They have to, regardless of what they say. They have shareholders to answers to and it woild be making them big money.

Don't think 2.5bill will do it though. Get to 3.5bill plus and I think their stance changes, and the middle eastern businessmen will consider that a drop in the ocean. They want power, not profit.

Boehly and people on his side very much backed Pochettino and felt he should have stayed and that stability was important. Egbhali felt he didn’t fit into the structure and needed to go. (@JacobsBen via @TheByline__) #CFC

Exactly, it’s power they want. They already had loads of money.

Yes, I got the feeling Boehly is a bit more focused on winning on the field than the others. But again, could turn out completely different.
