Can't really blame any of these kids for leaving. There's no way through into the team when we sign 4-5 south american prospects for every position.

According to wikipedia it is Enzo with 67 appearances, followed by Cucu and Mudryk with 62 each.

Appearances? Fair enough, I thought it was who was there the longest!

Either way, it’s crazy when in both cases, it’s players that have only been involved the last 2 seasons!

Ah ok, then yes if we consider who was signed first then Chukwuemeka, Cucurella, Casadei and Fofana (in that order) all arrived in that first BlueCo window. 

Seems like Todd and Eghbali have fallen out with eachother and are looking for options to buy eachother out.

Shouldn't get my hopes up, every contribution each of those 'people' has ever made to the world has been a negative one.

Was the prospect of themselves f**king off the only thing which would make the share price go up?

Todd wanted to build on winning. He spent poorly as our SD and brought in past it duds like Sterling, Auba and Koulibaly.

But he showed he was willing to spend big on players and their salaries.

Clearlake see the club as another part of their assest management, the players as commodities, fans as customers and making money the main thing that matters.

As I said from the beginning once Clearlake became a part of the bid to buy us I wanted no part of them being here and bringing their hedge fund mentality to our club.

I always thought it was Beghali that very focused on winning. Probably wrong though. 
 

If someone does buy one out, I just hope they actually run the club properly.

The problem is they would've done that already as it's the same clowns, and if @axman2526 is right above if Todd gets paid out, it could be worse!

It means nothing to fans generally other than if things at the board level are falling through, there may be a slight chance it gets sold on! Though I'm sure it can't until they see the contract out! One can hope!

But for a Chelsea fan, choosing between Boehly or Eghbali is like choosing between Syphilis or The Clap!

Doesnt' Boehly own about 13% and Clearlake about 60%? Boehly's pockets must incredibly deep to buy Clearlake's share, I don't see it happening. If anyone's getting bought out it's Boehly.

Don't know who I'd rather tbh. I'm assuming the whole buying young players on long contracts is Eghbali's idea and we're in too deep. We can't change course at this point imo.

Relations between Eghbali and Boehly can be described as professional. Boehly was in the Clearlake box before the opening game of the season against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

Too many cooks spoil the soup. I have always had a bad feeling about a consortium. I wish it had just been a single person who bought the club; we don't need this drama. This also explains why Todd's presence in the club has been dropping. 

 

My theory on what happened:

Todd was the club's original face, and the rest of the shareholders put faith in him.

The season when Tuchel was fired, and Potter hired happens, and the club runs into the ground.

Clearlake start losing faith in Todd being the face of the club, so they slowly start taking more control (explains beghali becoming more involved in the club)

Todd steps down from the day-to-day runnings of the club

The relationship ends up souring, and now he wants to sell his shares

What type of players did Todd buy? What sort of contracts did he give them?

When he was made to step down and Clownlakes people put in place was it the same wages and dame profiles? Nope.
