BlueCo buy Chelsea FC

Featured Replies

The BlueCo magic seems to be rubbing off on Cobham as well ... the U-21s got hammered 6-2 by Benfica last night LOL

Disasi was playing for the first 62 minutes, at which point we were 5-1 down. We're never going to get rid of him are we ?

Reggie Walsh and Jesse Derry came on in 62nd minute, and 3 minutes later Walsh assisted Derry to make it 5-2 (all Derry to be honest)

Seems odd that you'd have two of our better players on the frigging bench - clearly a pervasive issue at the club LOL

Deivid Washington started btw. Didn't score obviously (has no goals at all for the U-21s this season in 479 minutes)

Wouldn't be averse to this. I've always thought Cucurella is a triumph of hair, energy and attitude over actual defensive nous !

If you replaced him with Barco, which thankfully the club wouldn't, you'd have less defensive nous, and less of the rest as well...including the hair.

Think of the money saved though LOL

But there would be a bit of poetry when we were collectively shouting O...MG at the telly with Gust-o, Adarabiy-o, Hat-o and Barc-o shoring up our defence

Lol they will probably increase Barco wages massively when he joins and then sell Cucu at a cheap price in desperation.

Looking at 24/25 season Barco was in the midfield pivot with Santos, and was way off Santos on all the metrics you'd use for midfielders. No idea why we might sign him when presumably he'd just be 4th in line behind Caicedo, Fernandez (ugh) and Andrey ... should probably have just kept hold of KDH or Gallagher LOL if we wanted additional competition in midfield.

He'd be bought as an investment of course. Lol

When did we ever buy players for the squad with this crowd?

EXCL: Inside Chelsea: The truth about the project

I sat down with Chelsea’s Sporting leadership team

Its pathetic isnt it, I only got about a quarter of the way through before binning it, it was basically a bought and paid for advert.

So who will be our first top player to ask to leave. Has to be coming if it has not already.

Cucu could be the one. Him and Reece are in the same boat hitting their prime years but Reece has the connection to us.

I could see Barca/Real/Athletic wanting cucu.

Palmer for sure.

Sadly for Reece I can see him staying out of loyalty and love for the club. He deserves so much more.

I think Palmer first, then Cucu. Then a bit later Caicedo and finally Reece.

Palmers a good shout.

Reece has 2 and a half years on his contract. He's paid way above the wage cap so, unless he agrees to a wage drop or we make an exceptionto the wage cap for him, will Eghbali risk him leaving for free?

BlueCo's "pure profit" options for the January window :

  • James

  • Chalobah

  • Acheampong

  • George

  • Tosin

  • Castledine

One down ... place your bets on who's next !

Has Castledine been dropped because we prefer his sister? She got with Vinny last week.

I was rather hoping critical thinking was still in vogue but I suppose not.

Don't suppose Saddam is still around? I may be able to get some free KitKats or forge a career as a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing socialist like George Galloway.

Keep James and Josh and the rest can go

Let me talk to you all for a minute.

Two things some, if not all of you, don't know.

  1. Roman Abramovich had ZERO say in who bought us. While it was widely reported he was using the services of the Raine group it was, in fact, the UK government who selected BlueCo to buy FordStam Ltd.

Now why would they do that over a bid led by one man who is a knight and another who is a lord, and pick an American ownership over a British one? $$$$.

  2. It is widely known Roman cleared all our debts, but did you know we are in massive debt? Not Clearlake, not Todd, Walter's and their company, not wyss. No on Chelsea Fc. Well over a billion pounds in loans to Ares management, JP Morgan and the back of America. Huge interest rates exceeding 10%. Not their money, our clubs money.

interesting read. The board keep hiding behind experienced players demanding ridiculous wages, but that is the cost of doing business. Not sure I buy the £200k/w wage demand by Semenyo, probably his agent asked for that to get us to piss off. According to the papers he is going to be on £150k/w + bonuses at City.

Will be interesting to see what they do with Reece; do they ask him to take a pay cut or sell him under the pretence his wage demands were outrageous?

Anyone with any links to the Roman era that is still at the club is on borrowed time.

This chap Hassan Sulaiman has done pretty well to remain in employment with BlueCo thus far if he's been in the youth set up since 2008 !
