One of the pre-season friendlies someone said.

Surprising that nobody noticed until he had his medical with Ipswich. I wonder if Guiu will now be sent on loan instead?

Ugh, poor kid will never get a break.

I feel like I've been saying that a few times recently. I fear the ones that are back at the nurses office will never ever be able to be free of it. They will be back there before long.

Ipswich have restarted talks for a loan deal with Chelsea for striker Armando Broja.

The Tractor Boys are likely to seek improved terms to the loan with obligation to buy for £30million previously agreed last week.

That's because they discovered a foot injury in the medical which has led to increased caution around the deal.

But the injury isn't deemed serious and Broja will be back playing soon as reflected in his inclusion in Albania's squad over the international break.

It's an issue that needs carefully managing to see him return to full health.

Didn't see Everton coming...!

Nice for him either way tbh, he needs game time and to ease into it, it may be good for him without the noise surrounding chels.

Read somewhere he's currently injured , so probably to get to know the medical department at Everton before he kicks a ball. Hope he gets to play regularly and establish himself, but Everton it's in dire shape, and needs a lot help to win games. He could end up having a year like Gilmour at Norwich if he gets a slow start.

I read he's out till mid October with the ankle injury.

Achilles, apparently. Ipswich pulled out of the deal because of it but changed their minds when the injury wasn't as bad as first thought. Then they sought to alter the terms of the deal. Everton gazumped them.

Yeah, Ipswich wanted to change the 30m part for next year because of his injury. Probably hoping to knock a few mil off.

But the speed Everton came in at shocked everyone I guess. They already had a deal sheet! At some point in the past they must have spoken to Broja to get in that quick.

Hope he has a great career. So unlucky with injuries, he should be going down in history as Albania's greatest ever player but he still struggles to make the NT. Can't fault his effort but injuries have robbed him of the mobility and speed that made him stand out as a youth.
