Hmm, don't think they will, huge step up after two successive promotions.

It's a big ask but I think they could do it.  Were a bit naive against Liverpool in first half resulting in them being burnt out in second half but they showed enough in that opening 45 minutes to suggest they will hold their own against lesser teams like Wolves, Everton, Forest and Chelsea

True. Never know maybe big points deduction for Everton, Forest, and ourselves and that might send us all down so we get out 30mill Broja money.

I swear we could sell an academy player that can't kick a ball straight and they'll still be this conspiracy theory we'd buy him back for millions.

Even though we've not re signed one single academy player in the modern era and as far as I'm aware only made one attempt to (Ake).

Be interesting if they need 3 points to guarantee safety at this point

If all they need is 3 points in mid April I think it's safe to say they'd be staying up.

Even if they didn't pick up any after that the odds of the team in 18th winning out would be next to none.

But what if they needed say 9 points with 7 games to play. 3 from Chelsea would get them off to good start.

Further down the line i think these types of deals will come into focus and may well become illegal.

A bit vague at the moment, but reading between the lines I'd say yes.

"Issues with paperwork" is what is being reported ...

Yeah I would be surprised if it was just paperwork.

That injury he had in that mid season friendly really has hurt him badly I believe.

Agreed. While he was still raw, he looked more mobile before his injury. He is still young and could yet come good. But he really needs regular starts somewhere and probably a bit of luck.

WAGNH report issue is not on Chelsea's side nor on the medical, is on the terms between Broja and Ipswich. I would guess that is the terms of what he would get in deal length and salary if Town stay up.

Sounds possible. Maybe a compromise will yet be reached, or he will even try a loan initially. I watched some of the Ipswich game today and it would be interesting to see how he did with Szmodics. Hutchinson did quite well today I thought.
