Were a bit naive against Liverpool in first half resulting in them being burnt out in second half but they showed enough in that opening 45 minutes to suggest they will hold their own against lesser teams like Wolves, Everton, Forest and Chelsea

Never know maybe big points deduction for Everton, Forest, and ourselves and that might send us all down so we get out 30mill Broja money.

August 20, 20241 yr Good luck to him, was never a fan but maybe a change a scenery could do him good. Edited August 20, 20241 yr by DidierDrogbalala
August 20, 20241 yr To possibly get £30 million for Broja would be incredible . He had all the attributes but was somehow consistently sh*te.
August 20, 20241 yr I swear we could sell an academy player that can't kick a ball straight and they'll still be this conspiracy theory we'd buy him back for millions. Even though we've not re signed one single academy player in the modern era and as far as I'm aware only made one attempt to (Ake).

Even if they didn't pick up any after that the odds of the team in 18th winning out would be next to none.

But what if they needed say 9 points with 7 games to play. 3 from Chelsea would get them off to good start. Further down the line i think these types of deals will come into focus and may well become illegal.

August 24, 20241 yr Given the length of the deal he has, his wages not being huge, and other clubs said to hold an interest, we may not be willing to change much on the loan deal.

While he was still raw, he looked more mobile before his injury. He is still young and could yet come good. But he really needs regular starts somewhere and probably a bit of luck.
August 24, 20241 yr WAGNH report issue is not on Chelsea's side nor on the medical, is on the terms between Broja and Ipswich. I would guess that is the terms of what he would get in deal length and salary if Town stay up.

I watched some of the Ipswich game today and it would be interesting to see how he did with Szmodics. Hutchinson did quite well today I thought.
