Gutted ! Think we are better team but just wasn’t our day.

ref horrific but not worth moaning about gets you no where !! VAR one again a puss take not used for the big decisions. Red card in the cup final that frankly ruined a good contest is appalling reffing

that aside Arsenal shaded it results don’t lie and we were very unlucky with the injuries

and what happened to the time added on ?

If we had better and much faster backline, we'd be able to live with that playing tactic. Unfortunately, our defence is both slow and incompetent.

Sad.

Fair play to Lamps with his comments.. the Arsenal fans will point to the 2-1 at the emirates earlier where Jorgi could have been sent off.. i am more disappointed with our performance...

Ergh we finish the season like Wengers arsenal. Losers in finals and nothing but the 4th place cup to hang our hats on...joy...>>

Is it too late to try and wind you up with a fake score? Pedro just scored a 70 yard screamer to make it 5-2...

Ergh...

to think .. it all started when Kova had the ball .. Jorgi was beside him .. and couldnt find a runner.. panicked tried to take on 2-3 players.. overran the ball and lunged in.. i think that was the moment it turned for us..

His hamstring went two/three steps before he shot, what a f**king hero for getting his shot away!

He needs to get into some serious yoga.

Anthony Taylor hat-trick mate!

He was a clear man of the match, set up a pen, a winner and had a hand in two red card incidents. Mike Dean would be proud, he put on a real show.

We need this sh*t to be viral for it to have any sort of impact

My ESP technique says that ref does not like Chelsea and he is not alone, a lot don't like the infusion of money from Abramovich and this influences their behavior on the pitch.

Abysmal defending.

Need serious, serious reinforcements at the back for next season. Rudiger, Zouma, James and Christensen OUT.

Azpi is a warrior. It was all over his face what this meant to him. There's no steel left in that defence other than him.

Alonso couldn't buy a right foot even with a Euromillions win. Another one that needs culling.

I like the spirit Valerie however a few around said the wolves game and top 4 was far more important basically because of money.

That is a very Arsenal mindset.

Graham Poll masterclass, nobody is talking about anything other that the ref!

We weren’t very good today and overall Arsenal deserved it but again, Anthony Taylor and the standard of officiating in this country was shown up to be absolutely abysmal. No matter how incompetent these refs are, there is no accountability or any effort for improvement, just an arrogant doubling down of their ineptitude with the help of the cowards in the VAR room. It’s funny how quickly VAR is used to disallow goals for the tiniest infraction yet is barely ever used for other game changing decisions. It’s almost like these narcissists are deliberately trying to ruin football and the experience of the fans watching. Plus the refusal to use the pitch side monitor because it’s ‘takes too much time’ despite some VAR reviews taking several minutes defies logic.
Glad there is a break now and we have some good signings to look forward to before I have to witness a referee or VAR again.

Bar Frank, who has kept a far more level head about this all more than most of us, myself included.

Pretty unfair to Pedro, whose energy has driven this late run of possession.

Don't want to be too harsh on Pedro, as he did what he always has done, tried and tried and was full of energy. But every ball he put into the box was an easy picking for Arsenal keeper. As for Abraham, Barkley and CHO - I know they didn't get that long but all were totally ineffective. But appreciate it was hard chasing the game with only 10 men on the pitch playing against 12..............!
