Decent team performance if a bit "unexciting" but job done and massive 3 points.

Defence played well, especially Christensen and Silva and Mount gave another good display. But fair play to MOTM Werner. Put in a shift and should have scored more but got the all important winner.

Have to go for Werner - he looked like a serious striker in the first half and ultimately it was his industry and determination which won us the game.

Honourable mentions to Mount and Kanté (of course), as well as Christensen who showed a real willingness to try and play the ball in front of the forward line (when the opportunity was there). I have to assume that Christensen's very inconsistent forward passing ability is showcased based on Tuchel's instructions - it seems to appear and disappear with remarkable suddenness.

Werner was good, and I'm happy for him getting his goal but I've gone for Mount again.

He's the most creative player and goal threat of all our midfielders, by far, if we are looking to win a football match he has to play, as an attacking midfielder as well.

It really is that simple as far as I'm concerned.

Hard call to make, no one was outstanding.

Will give it to Dave for doing a decent job in a position that, at his stage of career, is asking an awful lot of him.

I am amazed many of you went for Timo, sympathy vote perhaps. Taps on a sitter and misses several more. For me he was poor.

Good team performance without outstanding individuals which is sort of the way under Tuchel. Mount MoM for me. Created most moments of danger against a difficult team to break down and pressed and harried as always.

Normally I can't stand him but I would like to vote for Chris kavanah. I know his red card didn't really change much. West Ham were complete dogsh*te but it its so nice to be given a freebie from such a useless twatt

I went for Christensen. Mount and Werner very close. AC really starting to ooze class and add more and more to his game with every match. Not only is he defending really well and looking like much more of a presence, but also moving with and distributing the ball brilliantly  - another couple of great through balls yesterday. I think he’s our most improved player this year and a potential runner-up for POTY (which has to be Mount). He’s gone from being a liability with nothing to offer in the eyes of most (“he can’t play in this league”) to one of the most complete CBs in the league. He’ll very soon be coveted by all the big clubs for silly money (assuming they’re still solvent :)).
