Just as well give Spurs the 3 points - Zaha off for stupidity ...we definitely need the 3 points today then

My commentator just casually said that a stupid foul like that when already booked makes you wonder...and leaving unsaid what exactly

How's this: wondering whether Zaha deliberately threw the game against Tottenham to adversely affect West Ham's European hopes as revenge for David Moyes dropping him at Man Utd after he shagged the latter's daughter.

Hope you're right but I wouldn't be so quick to write you lot off yet, If your strikers get fit again, There's nothing stopping you lot going on a 10 game winning streak. Liverpool will be affected by the AFCON assuming it goes ahead. I thought you lot should have been 2/3-0 up in the first half against Everton, James normally buries his chance and same goes for Mount's chance. You were the more likely side yesterday despite the covid situation, As a City fan I don't sit there thinking 'Ah yes, Chelsea are no longer in our rear view mirror', I still view you as a threat. Lets just say when you lot play Villa on boxing day, I'll still be paying attention to the result hoping for a Villa win/Draw. I understand as a fan of your club you think it's all doom and gloom.

certainly from a Chelsea perspective I'd like us to win the World Club thingy just to have done it and after that maybe the FA Cup and a top 4 finish? Champions League seems unlikely, EFL Cup - hardly worth the effort imho but I'd still celebrate greatly if we won it ahead of Spurs, Arsenal or Liverpool.

Thats honestly how I feel atm and Im beginning to care less and less about the season. Some teams had an advantage over others whether people want to agree or not and unfortunately its too late now.

Agree but its the two love childs that keep getting the acolades and the media feel sorry for when they get an injury or COVID case...but not us, we just get slated for having a big squad.  And not once have I heard from anyone during this bad run of form that our midfield and forward lines have been decimated; not one word from a pundit pointing this out, yet when the two love children have a problem the league should postpone the games....feed up with this sh*te media TBH, but we do shoot ourselves in the foot more often than not with our inconsistency not putting away poor quality teams.

Broja has just skinned the West Ham defence and won a penalty for Southampton. Scored by Ward-Prowse, Southampton ahead again.

Man City absolutely taking the piss out of my fantasy team by managing to score 4 goals in half an hour, none of which involved Bernardo Silva, then conceding twice so Ederson and Cancelo both lose points. Pricks.

I am with you there. Especially hate festive time football cause we, bar one season, are always cr@p and our rivals always win, hence Arsenal and Spurs winning at great pace.

And we never seem to learn.  We know that injuries and COVID aside it wouldn't matter, come winter we just f**king suck and suddenly switch off and fall into a malaise until it becomes panic stations.  I just have an awful feeling that we will be clinging on to 4th place after these holiday fixtures...when we clearly should not be in this position throwing away points to Burnley, Utd, Everton and West Ham...

Good news for Liverpool that they don't need to release Salah and Mane until after they've played Chelsea, nice one FIFA. Looks like Liverpool will only be without them both for only 1 Premier League game or possibly none.

what about Mendy?

we're in the same boat but my point was really that after all the talk that AFCON would be a problem for Liverpool it has turned out well for them. If Senegal reach the latter stages we could be without Mendy for Man City and Tottenham in the league. He'll obviously not be in the EFL semi-finals v Spurs but we'd have expected that.

It's very cunning from us to time our annual November/December dip simultaneously with injuries and Covid cases. That's 2 months of crappiness where it could have been at least 4! We'll be back in full swing in January ::ChElSeaFLag::

This Derby side are hilarious - a 35-year-old Colin Kazim-Richards has put them 1-0 up against West Brom after a ludicrous misunderstanding between Johnstone and Kipré.

They are playing Curtis Davies (36) and Richard Stearman (34), both of whom I assumed had retired. They also have Ravel Morrison (who is putting in a shift), and a rocket of a left wing-back called Ebosele, who is apparently 19 and out of position. He is currently getting the better of Paul Furlong's son, who got an assist against us last season when Sam Allardyce's West Brom managed to score five against us at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal? Lol they always bottle big league games, that won't be any different. Title is in the bag already unless Pool put together a 16 game winning run.

Nice to see United return after their 2 week winter break.

With a rested full squad not forced in to playing unfit players. Very nice.

United 1-0 down

rangnick not happy

he had 16 days to work with the squad, and i've come to the conclusion that Maguire is still sh*t

if this continues they might have to cancel this game at halftime
