December 19, 20214 yr Sounds like was a good competitive match, look forward to watching the highlights - best of all only a point for both spuds and scousers - takes a little bit of the edge off our earlier disappointing result
December 19, 20214 yr I thought the matches were off today so shocked to see we played and drew and so watched Spurs. I would say the Conte effect is now taking hold. Spurs had a lot of chances and Harry (jog along)Kane two you would expect him to put away. Delle Alli as the left player in a front threes also looked competitive. Nice to see Jurgen get booked and at half time just before the players come out he was bending the ref's ear not sure what for and Delli Alli goes up appearing to say, 'what's going here?' Good to see Liverpool drop points and Robertson with a silly challenge get a 3 match ban.
December 19, 20214 yr FWIW I thought both Kane’s and Robertsons was red cards but I expect ex Liverpool media and Sky, BBC etc to make out Liverpool to be the most hard done by team the world has ever seen. Enjoyable match though.
December 19, 20214 yr Bring on Tottenham or The Arsenal Bring on Scousers by the score... We hate Tottenham! We hate Tottenham!
December 19, 20214 yr I was listening to a pdcast and had this match on mute. Everytime I looked up someone got booked Edited December 19, 20214 yr by Valerie

What I find baffling is last year with no vaccine available, There were less games postponed, Was that due to players having to be in a bubble? More cautious behavior patterns because there wasn't a vaccine? Liverpool should keep you honest but has been a good day for your lot. One hand firmly on retaining the title.

Not really our first line up is it? I mean for me Trev is part of it but not half fit and not as a midfielder. Father time has caught up with Dave, and Alonso, CP and Ziyech are certainly back up players. He is right about Arsenal though, been great got them.

There will be a twist somewhere down the line axman, Given our desires to win the CL, It wouldn't shock me if we opened up a 8/9 point gap and then one of the two below pegged us back towards the end. There's no way we win the league at a canter and win the CL also, Either we win the league at a canter and bottle the CL again or vice versa. Edited December 20, 20214 yr by Kinkladze1871

Chance to open up a nice lead so long as your games go ahead and your side remains clear of covid cases, then you could afford to rest key players ahead of CL games. Plus you can use your reserves in the CL last 16 with the tie you got. Only chance league is not in the bag for you by end of February are either a shut down of the league or Liverpool hold on to you, rest of us will be falling behind most weeks.
