See, this is what Liverpool do. Cheaper, smart signings that fit into the system.

I admire the way Liverpool do business.

Do you really think Fulham (in this case) would want the same money for him if we came knocking? Chelsea Football Club in my opinion have been getting overcharged  for players ever since Abramovich arrived.

Roy Keane back to Sunderland is looking increasingly likely and it’s going to be amazing.

The third series of Sunderland 'til I die would be good.

wouldn't put it past united to play greenwood with an ankle bracelet, Ole would have done that surely

They have surpassed Arsenal as the banter club.

Lingard: I want to go to Newcastle.

Rangnick: Sure.

Board: He can´t leave, because we need squad depth.

Rangnick: Jesse asked to take some personal time.

Lingard: No I did not.

Rangnick: Son, please.

Board: Five years, 600k a week.

Son: Okay.

It´s really hard to believe their level of stupid. You thought they´d have Rangnick sort out their front office mess, but it seems he´s just another pawn in their commercial game. Can´t wait for the contract extensions for Lingard, Pogba, Mata and Matic.

It's an utterly ridiculous decision, particularly when you have a safe pair of hands like Warnock available.

Whatever you think of Warnock, he is at the very least actually a football manager...

could be a good signing for City

Not sure how are we ever supposed to win the title from them, look at their recruitment it's always working out perfectly.

Nobody actually wants Warnock though!

Well, not really. I don't think I have seen a club sign so many average to poor defenders. Also, Grealish has been sh*t since joining. The difference is that City can afford to make flop signings and just go out and replace them the next season. Other clubs can't do that. This is why we can't just go out and replace our failing attacking players, we have to stick with them and hope they work out because we can't afford to just go and throw another £150-£200m at clubs.

Well that was hilarious.

I particularly liked Lee Peltier (the new Kelvin Davis - in the sense of me being surprised every two years or so that he's still playing) accidentally hitting his penalty into the roof of the net.
