the thing is if she wouldn't have put in in the public domain it would probably have been swept under the carpet and she would have gotten some sort of hush money

Nonsense, if she has evidence you go to the police first, if they fail to act then you release the evidence on social media.

you don't think Manchester United or his agent or he himself will try to convince her to drop the charges? Either way it will be very difficult for her and there will be a lot of pressure on her & without releasing the images and audio on social media people will be likely to not believe her. She now has some sort of public support behind her

The evidence may there, but putting it in the public domain risks it becoming inadmissible in court.

Let the system do it's job, lots of innocent people's lives are ruined by false accusations.

All been deleted from the public domain now too. All pictures, video and audio. Wonder why.

It won't end his career. Footballers get away with a lot and still get signed by new teams.

I mean, we have a player who literally killed someone, playing for us. That doesn't seem to matter.

In this social climate, certain crimes get multiplied eg. racism, sex and violence against women are one of them. I don't think any top flight team is going to take him in fear of being cancelled.

Alonso's was manslaughter, careless/recklessness that caused a loss of life. Any player who got done for drink driving is in the same category as him tbh, they were just lucky that they didn't happen to end up killing someone when they could have.

Hell, in my book, speeding is worse than drink driving because you're in full control of your faculties. Funny how Paul Walker and Reyes the Arsenal player get mourned and nothing gets said about the fact that they were speeding. Only a crime when you survive?

It doesnt work like that, the criminal prosecution service decides if they prosecute, not uniteds lawyers.

If it was a civil matter (after money) you go to the media with photos, tapes .... like virginia giuffre has done to andrew. but if you want criminal proceedings you go to the police with all evidence, not the media.

I know footballers sometimes get away with a lot, but there is too much out in the open with this one. The pictures of her bruises and open wounds are bad enough, but that audio is damning, he's finished.

I dont know the circumstances around the audio, i havent heard it, but i would like to know how the audio came about, was it recorded by accident or did she do it whilst being raped ? or was it recording before the alleged rape ? It does look like he is in deep sh*t and very much guilty, but i have seen enough true crime stuff to know anything is possible and always keep an open mind, as the detectives on this case will also have to be.

it's understandable that this girl didn't do the most rational thing and keep it quiet and go to the police with her evidence.

Yes it is understandable, especially if she has a large amount of followers to announce it to. If she had criminal law advice they would tell her to not saying anything to the media/public, other than a prepared statement, get a criminal conviction first, then a civil action for £amages.

If we've learnt anything from the past few years (and frankly how it's always been) the rich and powerful get away with murder (sometimes literally).

No sweeping this under the rug now. No hush money or gag orders from a crack legal team.

No amount of friends in high places can stop a proper inquiry now.

I totally see her reasoning for putting it on social media, and considering her position and what she's been through I more than understand it.

Hope she's alright.

Indeed, I would venture she is a strong person to withstand this and then collect evidence of what happened to put it out there rather than having to get out at the first sign of trouble, which would be a perfectly understandable thing to do.

And she will have to stay silent for 2 years while loads of people will be pressuring her to take money and keep it quite etc.. And no one will know the pressure she is under.. It's better to put it on social media these days, she will get lots of support now.

I've heard it. He's attempting to rape her. And probably succeeding.

"I asked you politely and you wouldn't do it, what else do you want me to do"

"Push me again and watch that happens"

"I don't wanna have sex with you(girl), I don't care if don't you wanna have sex with me (Greenwood)"

And you can hear something creaking while all this is going on....
One of the most disturbing things i've heard in my life. She mentions him by name btw so there is no doubt it's him.

According to Miss. Robsons dad her phone was hacked and she did not mean for this issue to become public.

Yeah I just read that statement. Father of the f**king year....

It reeks of damage control.

Either to not get evidence thrown out of courtor he's afraid of losing access to a footballers millions is the only thing I can see.

If it were my daughter the police would need to get there before me, that's for damn sure.

Me too. He could be meaning she was collecting the evidence to give to the police and to keep it out of social media.

Even if she refuses to testify against him, the evidence is pretty damning so the police likely have enough evidence to convict him anyway.

they can use cellular data to proof he was there at the time of the recording + they could forensically match his voice to the voice on the tape to a certain degree

He's never playing in England again. It's not happening. The idea some people here think he's going to get away with this in some form, or that united would back him, is nonsense.

The guy has been recorded raping someone. I can't think of an example where the evidence has been so cut and dry before. Adam Johnson and Mendy aren't going to play football again in England, neither will greenwood.

Giggs beats up his wife, Scholes sucks on his daughters toes, Ronaldo is accused of rape… bunch of degenerates in Manchester

Rooney shagging everybody, Ferdinand cheating on his dying wife, Ravel Morrison's homophobic tweet and assault on girlfriend and her mother, Evra making out with a raw chicken. Like I said a few months ago, a bunch of weirdos.
