Ziyech and Saul aren't offering any support to Werner. He is basically taking on their defence on his own.

We look like exactly what we are…a team full of players who have played little so far this season and more importantly not together.

Not too surprising to see Saul struggling against a midfield that he struggled against a couple of weeks ago. 

Chilwell also looks bright. Werner’s got no service. 

How good is Trevor, I'm not too fussed about Koundé if this young man keeps up these levels of performances. I'd rather we resign Toni and Andreas and then reasses next summer. I want more opportunities for Trevor

I would still consider Kounde as he can cover a lot of positions. Plus Thiago will be leaving end of season and it is still unclear whether Toni will stay.

So far not good but Villa have offered f**k all. The only players so far that have impressed me are Chalobah and Kante. I was expecting more from CHO and Ziyech, but Ziyech at least is not missing. Saul and RLC have been meh and so on. But it’s the Carabao/Citeh Cup, so who cares.

RLC is a so good technically.. cant believe Saul has had a start in the league while he hasnt..

RLC is the deepest lying player.. not sure what you expect from him.. has distributed well and kept it tidy..

I’m looking for Callum and Ziyech to step it up a little. They really should be doing better in this company if they want first team starting places.

I think fans are a little too harsh on Sarr, I actually like what I am seeing. He just needs a solid, but has attributes of a potentially good CB.

people keep talking about Ziyech and his quality have seen nothing from him apart from 2-3 games where he has looked chelsea quality.. 

James and Kepa save us. Ziyech is getting worse the longer he plays for us. He plays like he just doesn't care. Everything he does is half hearted and lazy.

Kepa is just a completely different player now. Wonderful to see.

I saw an article that he was hanging is boots up after this season. I will see if I can dig it up.
