Get in Jorginho - and f**k off Martínez - you think you're special but you're just another on the production line of goalkeepers who 'miraculously' cease being sh*t the minute they leave Arsenal. I don't actually have anything against him or any keeper for doing it, they're at a severe disadvantage on any given kick so it makes sense to try and close that gap by some means.

December 26, 20214 yr If Lukaku is fit enough to travel and be on the bench, he can play 45 mins. Hardly like we’re running anyway so won’t be that exhausted. We have to get some presence up top. Poor Pulisic looks like a youth player playing against man’s team for first time.
December 26, 20214 yr I'm also failing to understand all the CP hate rn, he's not a false 9 fwd he's a lw/rw. He's getting 0 service and still dropping into midfield and doing the dirty work. What more do people want him to do?

While we haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders, we've only actually lost one game, and we haven't missed a single fixture. Hopefully this means that we will avoid a terrible run of congested fixtures which will hit our opponents later in the season. On the other hand they don't have the Club World Cup to fit in... Well, that's what I've been thinking too. It almost feels like we're the only ones having to play all games without postponements.

Yeah I agree, that was just some standard post-equaliser chest-beating. I actually think he's really good.

Pulisic just can't play the role, that has been clear for a while now. We could literally try anything different right now and it would be better.
December 26, 20214 yr Hopefully I'm being critisized later because I won't change my mind based on one half. If you know you know.

December 26, 20214 yr Guaranteed Lukaku will be shouting for the early ball and we will still be pissing around going sideways and backwards.
December 26, 20214 yr It's a real compliment to Chalobah the extent to which he has become a keystone of the team. We've been forced to play him when clearly not entirely fit, and wrap him in cotton wool when possible. Good to see Lukaku back though, we've been crying out for a [match fit] focal point. Presumably James will be moving to RCB, and one of Pulisic or Hudson-Odoi to RWB (hopefully the former).
