Christensen to return to us on a free.

On half his previous wages

And a clause entitling us to fine him everytime he sh*ts himself before a big game.

I'd actually take Kessie though.

We don't want Christensen, he's got a broken fanny apparently ( i appreciate that this doesn't translate to the US, For our US posters = coochie)

Pique decided to play for free next season. If he is the leader he is said to be maybe FDJ decides to take the paycut as well.

You don't take paycuts just to be a leader. Pique is a born and raised Barca boy and club legend so he's really doing it for the love of the club (He's also nearly finished as a top level player so not losing out on much). De Jong already did them a solid and deferred his wages to a later date and now they are trying to f**k him out of that. You don't get disrespected like that then continue to try to appease them, he's got to get paid now or leave and sue them.

@axman2526 Don't worry bro, this one is in the bag

Lol i don't care either way with De Jong. Don't think he can, on his own, fix our creation and finishing issues. He is also very expensive. Oh and we still need more defenders too.

If he comes though hopefully he actually wants to be come.

Actually this deal, or Fofana, would become a lot more appealing if we could just straight swap Havertz for either.

Swapping Kai for Fofana??

leave kai alone

I’ve lost to many Germans already

We shifted Timo, good business of we can get shot of Kai as well.

This system won't use a 10, Kai will continue to look a waste of money till he goes to a side that will use him off a main striker as the guy.

Had a nightmare day at work today but I laughed out loud with s**** himself clause.  Feel better now - thank you

Those are actors hired by Laporta

I think that's a pretty astute assessment. No, I don't think they are literally acting, or have actually been hired by Laporta, but I do think he has been riling up the fanbase with comments like, "reduce your salary or leave". Those words are meaningless in light of the fact that the bloke has a contract but they could stir the fans to put pressure on De Jong.

Is this deliberate? I think it is. He knows he is in no position to give De Jong an ultimatum, and he knows De Jong can simply ignore him, but he said it anyway. Why? Laporta is a very clever man and knows what effect those words can have on sections of the supporters.

If only de Jong would lower his salary everything will be perfect is what he’s trying to bring across. De Jong is the one who is preventing his whole masterplan from working

Of outbidding others in the market on terms that it is impossible for him to stick to. Prat
