It's so obvious we need a goalscorer,I believe the answer could be just down the Fulham road,let's go get Alexander mitrovic ,strong ,deadly in front of goal,and local,wasting our time looking at Wilfred zaha and aubaymayang 

Odd place to start a thread on mitrovic. He is not a Chelsea player nor are we rumored to be interested.

So far, his 2 goals aside yesterday, he's been only prolific in The Championship

Prem Stats :  Toon- Played 40 scored 10.   Foolham- Played 65 scored 16  

He's 27 same age as Sterling, if he was available on a free maybe but Fulham would want a sizeable fee for him now as he's their main man going into the season?  Also would he work in TT's system, he's already binned Tammy, Giroud & Lukaku 

 

I firmly believe we should hold out on any attacking signings until a DoF is in place. 

Stick with what we have and address next summer. Fofana and De Jong should help secure us a Top 4 spot.

I actually think by body language and style of play both Broja and Mitrovic are quite similar. I have hopes that Broja can develop into the strong, powerful front man.

Would go for Ivan Toney over Mitrovic. Also over Aubameyang and Ronaldo.

I'd buy Toney, think he's getting too good for Brentford and be keen for the challenge. Let's fact it, there are nobody in this team at moment who could challenge him for the striker role. I don't see Auba fancy coming here, otherwise the deal should be wrapped up by now

Not a huge fan of his personality. He's been in and out of Prem for almost 10 years...never felt he is a big team player. I feel he is a bit of a rebel. Maybe just the image he gives out who knows...What he has is the skill and hunger to simply put the ball in the net which is something you can't really say about any of our players.

Costa was a rebel, I feel we need that kind of player rather than a powderpuff / lump up front. Even giving Broja decent game time up top would be more ideal than continuing to destroy Kai's development.

Been linked to us again. We need more nasty players. He is one.

I agree

He was absolute dog sh*t against United. As much as I’d like us to avoid the ‘marque’ route for strikers and go for this ‘level’, there must be better options.

I'm not being an advocate, but he seems a sensible option in light of where we are.

Worth a shot I guess. 14 goals is still double what Kai has offered. Maybe he could actually finish some of the chances the likes of Madueke, Nkunku, Sterling and Enzo will create (I left Mudryk off this list on purpose, he's been abysmal so far)

I think my personal choice would be someone like Kolo Muani, but will he want to come to a non CL side, could we meet fee and salary demands, and there is the risk of whether he would flop here. Mitrovic was (!) being quoted at a reasonable price and most importantly is accustomed to the PL.
