If the funeral is on the 19th like suggested, this is the fixture list for that date on Skysports. Nothing happening in the UK.

We play Liverpool the day before, so that's bound to be called off i suppose, which is maybe a good thing, not sure because they are sh*te atm.

But i don't see why any of our other games should be called of really.

I don’t understand, Liverpool isn’t part of England according to them 

we could bury the queen on the 19th and the scouse on the 18th

That's good, however thousands feel different and in large the nation is in mourning.

She didn’t reign through any of the World Wars, did she? Or am I getting my dates confused?

So far nothing official about the games being postponed. Only cricket, racing and EFL games set for Friday have been called off. So the games may still go ahead or they may not. Decided tomorrow.

Glad Im over here in the USA where every thing goes on even on Christmas Day !  12 days of mourning what a load of bollox, maybe relevant in bygone times with no farkin electricity but nowadays what a joke. Are they gonna close all the boozers as well over there for 12 days so nae cant can enjoy themseleves ? I doubt it. 

Am sure the FA, PL and FL will be passing on their condolences to the new king and the rest of the royal family.

They will likely ask whether they would prefer, as a mark of respect, no games are played or games are played and the queens life is celebrated before the games start.

Whichever the family want, I support.

The World Cup congesting the season makes things a little awkward. I can't see where they fit anymore matches into the schedule.

maybe they will cancel this weekend's fixtures and next weekend's fixtures (preceding the Queens funeral)

while making an exception for the 4 European fixtures taking place in England (as it isn't a national competition)

Could do. Will see. Could declare all league games as void or make them all 1-1 draws so not to congest the calander.

That would be very unfair considering the difference of opposition every team faces 

I would rather cancel the useless international break 

the national teams can just play without the players from the PL. And England could, out of respect for the Queen, cancel their games entirely

it would also be possible to just make an agreement between all the PL clubs that they won't release the players for the international break so the international fixtures can go on but they would have to make do without the PL players. England would obviously not play then

Fifa would never allow it. They will use their rule to make it so none of the called up players are allowed to play for their clubs.
