No idea, any deal we do is simply bonkers at this stage of the window considering the talent supposedly at our disposal.

Just add a very inflated goal bonus to him. Incentivise him.

Sounds like that’s what the issue is. He’s probably on guaranteed wage compared to our contracts which are heavily bonus related.

Seems like a bit of schoolboy error to spend months laying groundwork for a player that had no intentions of taking any sort if wage cut, so therefore would never have fitted in to the wage structure. 

Pretty bizarre in fact. 

I get club to club negotiations dragging on, but surely we couldve known personnel terms wouldve been a major sticking point and just moved on months ago.

Gutted to not get him tbh, really think he would bea great addition, adds a different skills etc to what we have already. 

With Sancho now coming in, I suppose the idea with be Jackson, Nkunku, Felix or Palmer playing more of a false 9 role when needed.

We won’t be worse with Jackson (sorry @nonotnowjim), Guiu, and Nkunku and Felix to cover, than with Osi-meh.

Seems to be a giant chain of knots. Waiting for Saudi to confirm toney to enable Osimhen, also waiting for Sterling to Arse to allow Sancho. The whole thing could collapse if a single club f**ks the paperwork al la us with PSG a few years back.
