City will no doubt rest some players but their reserves are pretty impressive too. Hoping we can give another start to Zakaria and some of our younger players. The game on Saturday is more important so we shouldn't risk any key first team players.

At present no one is a first team player outside Recce, and he's injured everyone looks lost and confused, no one has grabbed their spot on the team.

I hope the positive football will give us a show today.

City will stick to their game plan and play their attacking football which will give us more space but also can put us in danger during the buildup.

I just hope we will have enough motivation to play this game at our best and win this game. We won't be PL champions this season, but we can end up with a cup.

COME ON CHELS!!!!

I wonder what formation this line up is going to be LOL.

I'm going with 4-3-3

Mendy

RLC - Chalobah - Koulibaly - Cucurella

Kovacic - Zakaria - Hall

Ziyech - Broja - Pulisic

Disappointed Hutchinson isn't starting ; hopefully he gets 30 minutes rather than 30 seconds as a sub.

Can't believe he's starting Kovacic instead of Gallagher for this one.

Plus points for Zakaria, Broja and Hall.

Brave points if RLC is indeed at right back in a flat back 4 !

Except it has to be a back three wing wingers as wing backs which we all f**king hate!

Yep, plus starting Kovacic who needs some rest with that leg. I get he's the best in that position and one of the players that actually gives a sh*t lately, but, then save him for Newcastle!

Well we don't have to  care about this competition after tonight. Good, I think the league and weekend's Newcastle game is much more important.

The problem with a youth like Hutchinson being on the bench in games like this, stems from the fact as soon as we’re losing it’s ‘experience’ that will come on, not him. 🤦‍♂️

Still can't make out why Connor can't get a start in a game like this.  I hope the kids enjoy the night, play with enthusiasm and speed, if they do we just might be in for a surprise..

That’s just it though, there is one kid. (We can’t really include Broja since he’s better than Aubu)

And as mentioned.. when we’re down, Potter will bring on the usual heads to avoid humiliation rather than risk Omari Hutchinson, who of which ‘seemed’ to have deserved a go but no.
