I could see us, last minute paying the release clause, just as a future warning not to play hard ball. Takes any time to find a replacement and it goes down the drain.

It’s more about that a deal has been agreed rather than the actual medical.

This is true. They have booked Lisbon University of Human Studies, sports section till night. Its same what Benfica uses.

I thought we might have a medical team in LIS.  Crazy drama - this makes the Hulk deal, or many others, seem quite calm.

Whats the bet we get this done, but some paperwork issue creates post signing drama, or FFP then comes after us and investigates and we get some ridiculous points deduction next season.

Also Rui Costa is on his way to Arouca shortly. Guessing the deal is now made.
