Malo Gusto to Chelsea

If not class, very very effective. Much as he is for France because Deschamps is sensible enough to utilise him properly. Maresca is ruining him.

Absolutely, the daft sod has his "system" and instead of looking at how it wont work due to the lack of the players he needs he just jams others into playing a position they cant. One eyed system managers a re a scourge on the game

Working on the assumption Maresca will be here for the foreseeable future, rewarding Gusto for clearly struggling in this set up where an 18 year old Acheampong looks more assured, is just baffling. Fits the theme of these sporting directors' poor squad planning.

This weekends game will give Maresca justification to keep using Gusto in the middle of the pitch, rather than the previous 40 games of utter dross.

Perhaps he's turned a corner 😉

Hatred for Enzo burns deep.

Great to see Gusto get his goal and assist. I was impressed with his pass through to Palmer, it was almost instinctive when he received the ball to look up and slide it through for CP to score. More of this please!

We should all hate the one that prevents progression.

Yes - instinctive as Palmer told him what to do:

Each to their own... I don't hate anybody. I don't like that word.

Sack the fraud and Palmer for player/manager

His pressers will be incomprehensible mumblings, so no change there.

Best game so far this season and no susprise it came from him overlapping

It's definitely his best strength and made me remember the time we didn't miss Reece James as much in right back. Just wish he'd cross a bit more instead of turning back. Still, well played.

Amazing that playing a full back as a full back worked well, rather than having him do things he cant.

I can see why Lyon fans weren't too upset about losing him tbh. He's ok, that's about it.

Lyon fans were distraught. they lost 3 key players that summer. Malo Gusto, Castello Lukeba and Bradley Barcola.

I think gusto is alright. I wish we had signed Barcola as well.
