At the stadium I never do because I need a piss too often when I drink lots of alcohol and I like chain smoking when I drink aswell (don't smoke sober). The latter isn't an option in the ground and the former unless I'm on an aisle seat will piss many people off.

A big game at home or the pub and I'm almost always pissed by the end of it, which in some ways I regret as I didn't get the chance to fully take in the moment for both our UCL wins.

I had about 7 in the Duke  no I think it was the Pelican by then,  back in  March 2007. Chels 3-0 Sheffield UTD.

Middle of the Shed

Ballack and Kalou also scored that day

When it' a "piss-up" game, now a thing of the past, I really don't know :blush2:

Somewhat more modest otherwise, more after the match than before, like @ArgoI don't want to have to visit the loo during the match.

Almost exactly the same as me although I gave up smoking in 2010 but watching Chelsea play always a fag in my hand didn't so much standing in the Shed only at half time cause some games you couldn't reach into your pocket. As for the toilet visits I'm exactly the same I remember once my mate running up the stairs at Fulham Broadway like Usain Bolt and straight into the White Hart for a slash 😆.

I would guess your between 25 and 35 I'm 57 in April and believe me going to the toilet while having a pint hits double figures at my age once the seal is broken. After about 2 pints it's a constant trip to the bog made worse if you're in a Wetherspoons where it's a bloody hike.

Oh and beware of the Mickey Drips my daughter bought me a lovely pair of khaki Levi 501's but I can't wear them to the pub it's too risky 🤣

I was literally having this conversation with my mate the other day, i genuinely don't remember any of the second half of Tuchel's CL win because i was too pissed up in the local. Seems a good idea at the time but regret it after.

Home matches about 5 bottles of K cider or German beer forget the name.

Away matches about 7 rounds going to WHU away.

Blackburn away, others load up with cans and starting drinking around 8.00am stop at Crew for more supplies and cans.

In Blackburn try to get in the CIU club but doorman stop us even the members as fear there will be major trouble.

At the ground someone else made their own way and was shocked some of us were not arrested for drunkenness.

On the way back more cans of lager.

Next week found one had been mugged on the tube home as he fell asleep, he had drunk a lot.

Some must have downed about 16 cans of lager.

I had 4 on the way back, had expected to drink in Blackburn yet didn't happen.

Usually 3 or 4 before the game and a couple afterwards. Sometimes depends on kick-off time. Rarely drink in the ground as the beer is crap and too expensive, Can't drink as much as I used. Sign of getting old. If watching a game at home, will sometimes have a glass or two of whisky or wine.

During the winter months have occasionally taken a hip flask of whisky into the ground. Obviously a single malt whisky and for medicinal purposes.

Interesting do you still get frisked going in and if so do they question the flask?

Haven't been questioned about the flask. It's ages since I've been frisked going into a game. It's ages since I've seen someone frisked going into the Bridge although bags are checked. Once took a penknife into the ground. Forgot that I had it with me.

I got frisked quite heavily at Old Trafford going into the away end.

Then walked straight into Molineux without anyone even speaking to me.

The number someone would likely drink if you add together watching Chelsea as we are now plus doing so in the company of @Munkworth would probably be astronomical....

Then if you added to that being in my company as well as Munks and watching Chelsea....well there would not be enough drink...

Here in the land that climate change forgot, kickoff is pretty early, except for UCL, so it's a macchiato as the usual... however, as you all know, probably better to avoid caffeine as our matches tend towards the somnambulistic so a nap or two can soften the horror ...😴😴😴

Don’t bring me in to this I’m normally asleep!
