The Austria high press meant they could not get on the ball for the first half, Koeman even made a first half sub to try and change it.

Tactically very clever yet they worked so hard.

It's grim listening but not as bad as watching

Clearly Gareth is spot on, we have struggled to replace Kalvin Phillips. I mean its obvious to us all.

I think England will win comfortably in the end, but we are playing dull uninspiring, boring football. It's gotta improve surely ? 

This game was the chance to give some players a rest and use the squad. 

It'll be criminal if Palmer doesn't get on, and I don't mean with a few minutes either.

 

Well, that first half was pretty fcucking dull.  Nothing happening for England.  Take Galagher off and put Palmer on.

Trash, sh*te, dinosaur football. Southgate is the worst coach in this tournament, and some of these players, Rice and Saka especially, are cowards.

If there was a top 5 for worst games of the tournament so far, England would take 3 of those spots.
