Euros 2024

Featured Replies

Pundits had to mention Hungary beating England 6-3 at Wembley in the 50s.

Luckily everyone seems to forget a few months later we played Hungary away . Hungary won 7-1 ..

What is the KPI for that? Plastic chairs thrown?

Bloody hell, you've changed mate. I'd suggest sticking on some Joni Mitchell and lighting up a number.

Good luck to the Scots.

Would be nice if we could have a euros, or world cup, where Wales, Scotland and both Ireland's qualified.

Aren't the next euros being held across the home nations ?

They are, In 2028. Across the U.K. and in the Republic of Ireland.

Ten stadiums will host matches at EURO 2028, with one each in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and six in England. An average stadium capacity of 58,000 will see three million tickets go on sale for the tournament, allowing more fans than ever before access to a UEFA EURO tournament.

London: Wembley Stadium
Cardiff: National Stadium of Wales
London: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Manchester: City of Manchester Stadium
Liverpool: Everton Stadium (new stadium)
Newcastle: St James' Park
Birmingham: Villa Park (to be renovated)
Glasgow: Hampden Park
Dublin: Dublin Arena
Belfast: Casement Park (to be renovated)

This is why are didn't support the expansion of the Euro's. This game has been dreadful.

It has but no VAR in the penalty ? Scotland are the new Chelsea 😂

I’ve been very aware throughout that I’m watching a group stage game between third and fourth.

In addition, I think that the game has suffered from a lack of Ally McCoist, it really has.

Scotland unlucky, upped the tempo near the end yet Hungary were more clinical.

On Scotland's penalty shout wasn't for me, the Scots player  leans into the defender and grabs his shirt. If he does not use his arm might have been given.

However I thought Borka could have gone for a second yellow earlier in the second half.

You get dreadful games between teams that are not there due to an  expanded tournament.

England's last game for example.

I watched the Germany game second half. Really looked like Germany had lost it,  Swiss played well, had a second ruled out then the inevitable happened.

Haven't seen the Scotland penalty shout yet , shame for their fans, and for Steve Clarke though.

Scotland's real achievement I feel is in qualifying for the competition, they were close in the last two games, just wasn't to be.

Didn't deserve a penalty for trying to get one instead of just you know, taking a f**king shot when through on goal. Idiot.

Hatred for all things connected to Chelsea again.  Steve Clarke was never going to get any decisions.

😜

And that they were the best team in the world at the 54 world cup and only got beat by the miracle of Berne.

And Canada. And San Marino. And the Lofoten Islands.
