I thought he would make a difference and he did in terms of actual movement and runs in behind, I wasn't confident in him scoring though. It wasn't the worse miss in the world to be honest and sadly it's more than anyone else did all night.

I'd agree if it was saved, but he didn't even hit the target

I haven't watched it back so open to being corrected but he missed by a whisker and it looked like if it was on target keeper would have got a touch to it anyway. I think he made it harder for himself by not positioning as close to the middle as possible but it was nice to have movement up front to create that chance in the first place.

He missed by more than whisker. Unlike Felix who finished the lofted pass with a cool, calm first time half-volley. So nice movement from Felix as well then? And a neat finish?

I know I mask it well, but in case anyone missed it, I have said once or twice before that he is Rubbish.

It feels like it is the current cool thing to slate Felix - but I continue to think he is a cracking player. Was also good last night. Width of the post away from an assist for Palmer, a fantastic finish for the disallowed goal, and a touch and vision that others in oour team dont have.  Really like Felix - but dont think we are allowed to give him credit.

Jackson on the other hand gets lauded for simply missing by less than 3 ft.

Fair enough then it was just a bad miss, it looked closer when I watched it live. 

I already said Felix was fine so not sure what you are getting at. I do think he should have been more aware as he is literally looking across the line but it was good centre forward movement and finish.

3 bad results in a row, if he keeps this up the pressure will mount...

If Arsenal get Osimhen over us in Jan after we chased him in the Summer, it will be a failure. We need that guy, now. We need to dip into the market next month, simple.

There is one bloke on here, Jim something or other.

I think he has good qualities, but we seem to have 3 or 4 second strikers in an old 4-4-2. Giroud works in these lone striker teams because he's such a threat in the air, and Cucurella has as many goals from the head this year as Jackson. I'd love to see Guiu get a run.

Confidence in him wouldn’t have mattered anyway. The guy lives offside.

In this particular case it wasn't his fault. 

I'm not sure who played the pass eventually (I think it was Enzo?) but it took them 10 years to do it when it was a fairly simple pass for a professional to make. If he had held his run any longer he would not have been able to get away from the defender for the 1v1.

Also, I believe it was his previous agent's fault that we never got him. He's fired that agent, so it should be simpler to negotiate. We will see what happens, but we need a clinical, experienced, and proven striker.

Yeah ultimately it doesn't matter as he missed it anyway, just pointing out the run itself wasn't the issue.
