I watched this 2004-05 season review video the other day and it totally transformed the way I think of Jackson, to be honest.

Weird to think that Drogba's first goal for us was assisted by Babayaro.

Edit: His last Chelsea goal was assisted by another unlikely full-back - Brana away at Leicester in 2015. I was there!

Was i saying Enzo should be as good as a 26 year old KDB? I was just asking for him to resemble a footballer.

And I didn't ask for Jackson to leave the club or should have been the one to go instead if Gallagher.

So I should give more time to Jackson who has proven nothing but don't give time for Enzo, Best Young Player of the World Cup, a World Champion who has won trophies everywhere he went except for Chelsea where the management have been unstable?

He’s had some good games, he’s had some shockingly bad games. Doesn’t seem a likeable bloke. Replaced with Delap next season.

Sounds like Jackson as well..

Guy gets stick from "fans" for the way he walks off a pitch after being subbed. This is up there with not likeing a managers shoes or his body posture on the sidelines so calling for him to be sacked.

Some of you lot must live guilded high society existences where emotions are frowned upon and only the best behaviour will do. Be gone you toads back to the victorian ages where your sensibilities mattered. What what what ffs...

Very bold of me to say this, and I really apologise if I'm way off on this one, I mean it's a long shot but here goes... I think he's talking about you @nonotnowjim

And the award for understatement of the year goes to......

The guy is a class A c**t; and the most unlikeable player we have ever had the misfortune of watching. Wish he would crawl back to where he came.

Victor, no, not at all.

I've not read a jim comment in months, no offence to the chap, we know he thinks Jackson is rubbish... i just dont want to read it 24/7.

A hugely frustrating player, but scored the key goal today - after missing a few sitters - which is massive, shows big character. Doesn't deserve (most of) the criticism he receives, still relatively young but has been decent so far.

He took his goal well, but the game would have been over long before that if he had taken his much easier chances.

Just gotta hope he keeps improving, because I don't see Maresca dropping him or asking to bring somebody else in.

sh*t but scored....

Could copy and paste this most weeks.

Yeah a total enigma.

Has a place here no doubt for me, bit as the first choice striker? Big doubts on that one.

Looked like he was really in his own head prior to scoring. The miss from 6 yards - his body language was so negative and lethargic.

But, as he has a lot this season, he picked it up and scored a very good goal. Yes he could have put it beyond question but, whilst we are winning, take it for what it is. Wacko scored a very important winning goal.

When he's instinctive, will do good things maybe great things.

When he gets a chance to use his brain? Terrible

Could have had a hattrick today
