January 4, 20251 yr Final straw for me, needs to dropped for the foreseeable future, he's costing us big time.

January 4, 20251 yr Can't be bothered with him anymore. While he's not completely to blame for the past few results, Fulham, Everton and now Palace he has had multiple chances where we could have killed the game off but he doesn't take them and the worst thing it is we all now expect him to NOT score these chances. Nowhere near good enough to be starting for us.
January 4, 20251 yr Jim can have free rein I’m honestly fed up. Far as I’m concerned he and Maresca are solely responsible for our poor form.
January 4, 20251 yr He has been playing very poorly, yet Maresca keeps picking him and leaving him on for most of the 3 games, and subs him on in the other one. Who do you blame more, the player obviously playing like sh*t or the manager who keeps picking him?

Realistically we have a choice of a kid who's played hardly any professional games, or a player who isn't even a striker to compete with Jackson.
January 4, 20251 yr Not clinical enough, if he’s our main forward then Champions League qualification is a pipe dream. Any team finishing in the top 4 will have a forward hitting 20+ league goals. Edited January 4, 20251 yr by 2211

January 4, 20251 yr I'm generally just a really poor footballer. The build up to the penalty appeal was really frustrating. He brings the ball down gets turned runs at the defenders, he has Palmer to the left, all he has to do time the pass and slip him in. Not only does he f**k the timing up, he plays a lazy pass that kills the momentum. Palmer still retrieves the ball, and ens up putting dangerous ball across which Neto didn't anticipate. Neto picks the ball up, goes to play a 1-2 with Jackson, and again Jackson with a lazy ball, which is what resulted in Mitchell stretching to "win" the ball. Not good enough, and that's without the 3 big chances he didn't even hit the target with today. 4 points dropped away at Everton and Palace, both games a decent striker wins us the points with big chances Jackson had across both games.
