Was looking forward to that game as a neutral but it was so dull I nearly nodded off. Lucky gooners. Neither team did enough to deserve the 3 points. City are not the same side without KDB & Rodri. They don't look as strong as they did last season and Kovacic had a shocker and was lucky to stay on the pitch.

And do Arsenal rely heavily on Saka, as they looked average today too? No doubt he will be back to play against us but IF we can play to our best we CAN beat them.

This is what happen when two manager who both prefer defensive riskless football face each other.

Can't really say Pep & Arteta normally play defensive riskless football. They like the possession football, but both are usually very attack minded as their goal tallies will back up. Just think they both showed far too much respect for each other and it was a very cagey affair that made very dull viewing.

Would absolutely love it if we beat Arsenal on the 21st - really want to see Arteta put back firmly in his place.

Hmm they do though. The idea of pep football is about minimizing risk as much as possible.

Totally disagree. I would imagine ALL managers want to minimise risk but Pep is able to execute that better because he has so many good footballers to choose from. You don't minimise risk by playing the ball out from the back, but City are able to do it better than most due to the calibre of player they have. But his football is far from defensive.

Agree with this, I used to dislike Pep`s football at Barcelona and Munich as it absolutely was risk free, but at City its not the same, its all about moving the ball forward much quicker than his other teams.

Its amusing to see the same sh*t that used to be threw at us when we dominated now going at City, how our football is boring, were defensive etc. It was bollocks back then, its bollocks now.

Tonali and Zaniolo both caught in a betting scandal that may rule them out of competitive football for at least 18 months. Tonali's agreed to get treatment for gambling addiction. Fagioli from Juve self reported. With stricter Italian laws he may serve a 3-5 year ban. He admitted to getting the app from Tonali.

Seems like everyone involved was betting on football, including on their own teams. 😬

Tonali allegedly bet on matches where he played as well, his career might be over actually.

God I hate the biased punditry Liverpool get.

Alexander Arnold shoots over the bar (and it's covered by the keeper so wouldn't have gone in anyway) and they spend a good minute worshipping the miss. Everton go the other end, have a far better attempt and they barely mention it.

Klopps constant whining and abuse of officials has worked then. The ref is booking Everton fans for breathing yet not booking Liverpool players for the exact same fouls.

And there's the soft red, same thing they whined about on Jota.

After the Spurs match everyone, including Everton, had to know the refs would be giving things in Liverpools favour, aka returning to the norm.
