Always thought there may have been more to it with Mason and the board.

No longer a Chelsea player... Was great having him here and loved watching him play, didnt want him gone... certainly wouldn't boo him but he's an opponent now and as such, who cares. If he scores and kisses the united badge, I think that would get a bad reaction. Hopefully we'll turn united over so won't matter. 

 

 

I'm getting annoyed of this ongoing narrative "There is more to the story than what's been told". 

What does John Terry, Matt Law, Alex Goldberg, and Felix Johnston know about this Mount situation that we don't? Tell us what this other side of the story is if you're continuing to defend Mount. If you aren't going to reveal what you know, then don't hint at it? Simple. 

What we do know is that:

-Mount turned down £200kpw with options to extend.

-Had his PR leak to Romano that he wasn't re-signing so Chelsea would lower his transfer valuation to United. 

- Gave the most fake and scripted goodbye that looked like an ISIS video. 

- Called United "Home" day one with his mug father. 

 

WHAT IS THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY?

I actually thought something was up when Frank came back and Mount still didn't get hardly any game time! Almost like he was told not to play him!

Wouldn't worry about it, the way things are going if and when he does return he'll just be sitting on the other bench.

I dont even believe he is injured and I think hes faking it because of his awful start at united where he has looked like one of the worst players on the pitch every time hes stepped on it

Mount would have to play outrageously badly to take the attention away from Greenwood, Anthony and Sancho ... not to mention Maguire LOL

most of those things have only come up post his injury... watch him magically return now though

First thing Mount would have done on arrival at Man U was show those mugs his Champions League medal. Doubt they'd seen one before.

The " Sheditor" in August's CFCUK fanzine  gives a view which doesn't cast the club in a good light.

Wage disparity and the club wanting a share of his image rights, causing discontent.

Personally, I think the club wanted the fee more than they wanted Mount.  

Anyway, I rarely give grief to ex players, we wouldn't have been as  successful as we were without us enticing players away from other clubs for decades, and if he's as rubbish as a lot on here claim , then it shouldn't be a problem that he's gone, and that the club has benefited financially.

Mount hasn't done or said anything.

The Mail have reported that Terry has " suggested" stuff about the transfer, there's f**k facts or real news anywhere in that article 

Dunno why Mount is getting it from some of our fans yet again , literally nothing at all to do with him at all

Wage disparity was being addressed and I think that the salaries are more balanced with their basic plus performance related wages (though I don’t know the actual salaries the players get).

Regarding the image rights, that is something that clubs like Real Madrid do, the club has at least 50% of the image rights with two exceptions in its recent history, Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo. Somehow, it makes sense as the players are famous because they play for Chelsea (or Real Madrid or whoever).

He has a hat trick of winners medals they have never seen, CL, Super Cup, Club World Cup.

 

With how we're now treating Chalobah, this really doesn't surprise me. 

There were rumours at the time of the board going back on their offer when Mount was ready to sign. I imagine the board tried to skim £50k of his weekly wage at the last minute and was told to sign it or leave. 

Left out of the England squad by Southgate. He was an ever-present before leaving for Manure.

Wonder when Palmer will get the call up.

Although he has not started well for United, he was practically injured for the whole of September and only made his return to playing just over a week ago. I think that is more or so the reason as to why, even his form has not been good.

England really are missing that elite level DM. 

In total fairness Mount would’ve thrived in the system we’re setting up now. If he’d of stayed which I think it’s more and more obvious that this is down to the board and not himself. He’d likely be captain right now and the focal point. Never mind aye.

Nope, he’s home now, so not down to our club but his lot thinking that sh*thole of Salford is their home.
