(Though it's obvious Gallagher has to start, I would gamble like this)

Gallagher has been one of our best performers in recent games, and we may need his physical presence in a game like this.

It’s mad that this game isn’t on tv. Bonkers. No wonder Todd wants to maximise the tv revenue.

I think we’ll do ok vs Newcastle. I fancy us to win.

Newcastles record of late isn’t great. One win in 6 games which was the game vs Arsenal with the dodgy goal. One draw and 4 loss (lost their last two games).

Too big of a game. I like his role atm which is coming off the bench to protect a lead.

Will surely get more game time after this difficult run of fixtures.

Tbh this could be harsh but I don't think he's ready yet, probably needs a loan. He's messed up a few times, he could've been the true enemy had Son equalised in the Tottenham game, which was primarily his fault.

The sooner Lavia is fit to play the better.

Always a tricky place to go. But we are capable of getting something there if we put in the effort like we have done against city arsenal spurs Liverpool.

Pochettino stated neither Nkunku nor Lavia will be involved tomorrow.

Eddie Howe expects a number of the players who have been out to be available.

Schar, Isak, Wilson, Almiron, Longstaff, Tripper after his England withdrawal, and the now not suspended Bruno expected to be in the match day squad, though it comes too soon for Botman and Burn. Hall is not able to play being technically on loan there.

Newcastle have won their last 4 games as St. James Park, not conceding a single goal.

So the exact opposite to how international breaks impact on our player availability. Typical.

Aye, the international break came at a great time for Newcastle to recover players.

Enzo and Caicedo both only trained with the team today.

Yes Pochettino apparently raised some concerns about Caicedo in particular arriving the latest and then having to travel again to Newcastle.

Think there is a very good chance Caicedo does not start this with Conor dropping back. I am hearing a fair amount of chatter it will be Conor and Lesley in fact as the double 6, as Enzo is also tired too.

Pochettino said in his presser he knows his starting 11 already. Had he even seen Enzo and Caicedo in training at that point?

Likely means Mudryk in tonthe front 3, but am wondering if we see Broja in with Jackson to the left, or even Madueke to be alongside Palmer.

Can't wait to see the lineups, if Newcastle really are out of shape + Tonali problem we have a chance since we somehow manage to perform better in away matches I believe.

Schar, Almiron and Isak all back as speculated, they are only down players like Botman and Burn, which are two less threats at set pieces compared to Tino And Lascelles. Still a strong side.

We really needed Caicedo here.

They will target Lesley imo.

Disasi on the bench. Had his best game arguably vs City, then dropped for the next. Interesting.

I thought Newcastle know as a good set piece side we might even see the Monaco reunion of Badiashile and Disasi but I guess not yet.
