Norwich were never good enough regardless of tactics. Nor will Leeds, in current shape, be good enough. Nor will Sheffield United who aren't as good as current Leeds. Ditto Burnley. The most interesting Championship team is Sunderland. Very young, a good young manager, skill and endeavour. Whether they can hang onto their young talent for the future is another matter.

I reckon the current Leeds side look better than Ipswich, Leicester & Southampton although admittedly that's not saying much. I do like Daniel Farke as well, if only for the fact that everyone can do a good impression of him!

But I think Leeds are in a good position to get promoted and learn from previous mistakes and stay in the PL. Can see any other side going straight back down though to be honest.

Its come to something when I can see the benefit in Liverpool Arsenal and Tottenham winning handsomely tonight.

We could do with Forest Citeh and Newcastle getting hammered to aid our top 4/5 hopes. Oh the shame.

No idea why the last minute Haaland goal wasn't given, after 4 minutes of delay, not even a proper explanation , just a goal kick. This is exactly why VAR is so hated, not only it's great at spoiling the fun of football, but not even proper justifications on why key decisions were made. Let's face it, unless you are big Angie , you won't complain about the goal just looking at it in real time.

Wow, Millwall GK sent off, terrible challenge he nearly took the strikers head off, Oliver had to rely on VAR (what would have happened if VAR wasn't allowed?)

Chillwell making Maresca look a mug having a great game

I've just seen it. I don't know how Oliver didn't see how bad that was in real time, he's right in line with it.

The commentator saying he feels for Roberts because it was a genuine attempt for the ball. The BBC are worse than anybody when it comes to commentary and punditry. Anybody with a brain can see that he didn't care for safety of the player at all when making that challenge.

Also, typical Millwall scum fans singing "let him die". They really live up to their reputation.

Is this the longest VAR check of all time?

Bournemouth score a goal but it looks like its gone in off the players arm, inconclusive but then check for offside, remember automated offsides are in operation for first time finally it’s disallowed 6 mins later,

Automated offside technology defeated by the jumble of bodies. They had to revert to drawing lines. A season or so ago goal line technology was defeated by a jumble of bodies.

Lamps with another win, Coventry now in the play-off spots. What a turnaround in fortunes since he arrived.

Coventry were always a good team. Mark Robins had them within a squeak of promotion last season. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, his magic ran out this season.

Some players are braindead, Newcastle down to 10 and then Lampty gets himself sent off and to make matters worse, from the freekick Newcastle score

And disallowed, semi automated offsides do work although Tonali thick as mince hands out asking why?

Gormless Gordon, gets himself sent off and misses the cup final

So brainless from him. He's basically just gifted Liverpool the win with that red card.

Apart from City and Utd, theres Got to be a chance of a team winning the cup who havent won it before or not for a long time, Brighton, Preston, Villa, Palace, Forest, Ipswich, Fulham and the team i tipped up before the draw for the last round took place Bournemouth

They say the new rule comes into play next season Pity the refs don’t implement the old rule now, Brighton keeper caught the ball from a corner and then fell down on it, climbed back up before launching it up field, he had the ball in his hands for 12 seconds

Football lawmakers approve MAJOR rule change for goalkeepers

The referee counts down the final five seconds on their hand and under the law change a corner will be awarded if they exceed the limit instead of an indirect free-kick.
