Training and playing with development team when ready. Confirmed. Petrovic is at strasbourg. Confirmed. Vale gone to can't remember where but I haven't seen confirmation. So that's 4 maybe 5 off the list. Fingers and toes 🤞 for the rest. Yeah, just saw the Osimhen news. Can’t wait to start again next summer with the «Osimhen not happy in Saudi and wants to go to Chelsea, but not for less money»😂

Petrovic has apparently now accepted a loan to Strasbourg but not confirmed yet. Broja now looking like Maresca's "new" striker LOL as his loan/obligation move to Ipswich is off 🙂 I completely forgot that D. Fofana existed! To be fair, he’s probably somewhat better than Guiu atm so who knows what we’ll do if we cant sell him and we dont get a striker in

I'm expecting them to shift Matos, and only Matos, and get ever so close to signing Osimhen having spent all day faffing around only to mis the deadline and for him to reluctantly pick up his kings ransom in Saudi.
August 30, 20241 yr I quite like what Guiu offers and he’s only 18, so he’ll learn from the mistakes he makes. I also liked when DD Fofana played for us (was it against West Ham that he played quite well?), so I’m content with them and Jackson as our choices until a proven quality striker become available. I think CB cover of quality is more important, to be honest.

He hates Saudi so much, one year was enough and he comes here on reduced wages. Never know bud. I still don't rate him as high as others though it seems. Lol

Maybe Osimhen and Sterling deals are the ones that need to tip over for most of the deals to happen. No chance of dominos falling today. They'll be selling pizzas long after this lot have disappeared from the headlines.

August 30, 20241 yr Washington has been "signed" by Strasbourg, sold for the same price we bought him with some generous clauses I'm sure.
August 30, 20241 yr Author Nah, it's not money laundering. No nononono, not money laundering at all, sound investment strategy.

Lol I dont either, but he’s the pick of the bunch in a poor market for strikers atm. «Reduced wages» for him after Saudi probably still means double or triple of what we can offer within our structure so I think its byebye Victor

August 30, 20241 yr I'd hate to be a Strasbourg fan 🤣 Next year they'll purchase our next "wonderkid" Omari Kellyman for £20 million.
August 30, 20241 yr I’m just sitting here praying that Newcastle make an offer for one of the Monaco muppets. Please!

Typical of these clowns to get this multi club model (that they have woefully failed at) the wrong way round by bringing these kids in and then bombing them back down. I thought the idea was to loan them out to the satellite club for them to progress before being promoted up to the PL side. The Chelsea model for Strasbourg seems to be more on this basis

I have no idea why our SDs went for Kellyman rather than insisting on Duran in that particular exercise in financial engineering with Villa ...

Looked like he had decent movement and sense of positioning in the few minutes he had last season, albeit with the caveat of a big red flag from his relative lack of impact in PL2.

Would still be a massive surprise.
August 30, 20241 yr I actually thought the management were doing the right thing by waiting later in the window to move players on. The latter window becomes a bit of a seller's market because clubs are desperate.

On the plus side, he's probably had some good feedback about life in Strasbourg from Angelo Gabriel and Andrey Santos, so it might well be a "dream" move of sorts LOL Let's hope it works out for him anyway 🙂
