It would be nice to beat Liverpool. Long over due. Most unlikely to happen, especially playing in scouse land, but it would be very nice.

Forest beat them at home.

I'm not sure why we as fans are so cautious, we're favourites here imo.

Wouldn't necessary call us favorites, but we are facing them at a good time. They lost to Forrest after the international break.

A mid block, counter attacking game is going to frustrate the hell out of them. I think that's the right gameplan with preferably Lavia + Caicedo partnering.

If Enzo ends up playing Christ almighty he will need to step it up.

Oh, I am not too cautious. I always believe we can win every game we play. That is why we 'show up' to have our crazy dreams dashed and broken.

Pretty sure we aint favourites.

We have the firepower up front, that is always a good thing, we can sore goals (if you remember under Potter you just felt that we could never score, would never score, it was a horrible feeling). So we can score, that is for sure. BUT we are without Wes and we are without Cucu and our defence is not great at the best of times.

Well he is our chosen Captain and so most likely he starts.

The dynamism of Liverpool's midfield in their build up is my biggest worry. Hence why I think Maresca will continue with a mid block so they can't easily by pass us.

If Enzo is going to continue on playing as he has then he'll once again just be redundant.

I am not disagreeing, but Enzo has chosen Enzo as the Captain and so it is most unlikely that he drops him.

Tosin and Veiga starting over Wes and Cucu means god is looking down on us. Advantage Chelsea.

Me and Enzo M are both very spiritual people. I went to a fortune teller today - and the old girl told me that a win against the bin dippers was guaranteed. But only if Wacko Jacko is left out the squad.

Enzo - I have reached out separately on official club channels - but on the off chance that you are reading this, it is probably best NOT to risk it. I wouldnt usually make such demands, but it would be wise to follow this sage advice. She is always spot on. She told me how she predicted that my 7th marriage wouldn't last.....uncanny insight.

GK: Balding spaniard with 2 left pegs

LB: Skinny Mediocre frenchman with dreads

CB: Slight musclier mediocre Frenchman with dreads

CB: Future England captain

RB: Buff Portugeezer

CM: South American Tornado

CM: South American light wind

RW: He's got a jock strap, on his head

LW: He is to ETH what I am to Wacko

ATM: Writes itself

ST: Balloon boy (AKA Seinfeld Series 4 Episode 7)

This is going to be a tough game to predict, Liverpool really haven't been challenged and have had good fortune with an early run of relatively easy fixtures, we have had a decent start and may well have been closer had we not dropped the points against Palace...this is the first game of several in a row where we come up against tough opposition, we could and should win this game but my fear is our midfield is just too easy to play through and provide no relief for our back 4 and that I think will be the killer...my hope is for 3 points, 1 would be decent, losing (depending on by how many) would not be the result we need looking at the next few fixtures against Newcastle / Utd / Arsenal, get beat by all 4 and it will be dismal around here.

Bookies favour them quite significantly but I prefer having the underdogs tag anyway. We have won every away game in the league so far, but this  is obviously the biggest test we have had, but  let's see.

Let's not get carried away. We've got reasons to be optimistic but we're far from favourites. A win here would make a statement, however I'd be quite content with a draw...

It is good that there are a few optimists amongst us pessimists!

In a way I am optimistic. If we can counter like we have done in games this season and Palmer has one of his unplayable days, we will cause the dippers problems.

But I think we will miss Cucurella. He has done well against the likes of Saka and think he would have kept Salah quiet whereas Veiga does look very iffy when players are running at him. Also worry about starting Enzo and then Sanchez and his dithering on the ball and just know Liverpool will target both of those.

It could be a classic. Would take a 4-3 win with a late Palmer penalty setting of floods of dipper tears!

I think this one is in the balance, neither team have blown away this season yet, obviously they are slightly more consistent than us at home. I hope our players are well up for this whoever is selected.

I think Nkunku would be a good shout over Jackson, tie VVD (the most overrated player off all time, turns like an oil tanker!)  up in knots.

Salah, especially at home, is still their main man, so there's our starter for 10 on the tactics front.

Everyone fit bar suspensions according to Maresca.

Reece James will be utilized the same way as Lavia and Fofana. One game per week as their bodies currently can't manage 2.

Not going to pretend to be a physio but it makes sense to only give Reece 60 mins once a week from now until xmas. Full 90 in less intense games and slowly build him up until the end of the season.

How many injuries did we have this time last year?

The improvement is astonishing.

Nkunkus balloon celebration infront of The Kop would break the Internet.
