Yeah, the perception of how we’ve been doing under Maresca will be heavily influenced by todays result I reckon

I'd be tempted to start Mudryk, or at least give him significant minutes off the bench, seeing as (a) he has found a modicum of form recently, and (b) he scored twice against the barcodes last season.

 

I dont like Gusto at left back, but Maresca is really showing he has some balls here by selecting Lavia over Enzo again. Love that

Tough match Newcastle setup to counter attack and probably will get at least one or two clear cut chances based on our defence.

Cant help that we need Nkunku to be playing in this one. You know how Eddie Howe plays - basically like Stoke. They’ll crowd the box. You need to score scrappy goals.
