Got a bad feeling about this with Taylor and a Spurs player reaction to show it’s not them. We need to stick to our game plan and be clinical. Predicted line up mirrors Villa sans Wes

Sanchez

Caicedo Badiashile Levi Cucu

Enzo Lavia

Neto Palmer Sancho

Jackson

Almost the line up I would pick. The only thing I would change is, I'd play Madueke instead of Sancho. It's going to be an end to end game and I would prefer to have Noni's pace, power and directness over Sancho's close control and smarter, more intricate passing. Spurs are also going to come at us and Noni offers more defensively.

I would also like Jorgensen over Sanchez, but let's stay realistic...

Can someone explain how Taylor is the referee in this game? Hes been in charge twice already and booked 8 of outs in the last game

Everton vs Liverpool called off due to bad weather endangering supporters.

Maybe our game should be called off for a terrible ref who endangers our players.

We really should beat them considering the form we’re in and their defender issues.

It should be a 3-0 or 4-0 win for us imo, no doubt Taylor will make our lives difficult but hopefully he won’t be able to prevent us getting 3 points.

I’ll go for 3 - 1 to us, Jackson x2 and Cold Palmer.

Here is the thing though, and I brought it up earlier in the thread with a predicted Spurs line up.

Do they actual have defensive issues? Are they actually still in an "injury crisis"

Are not Porro and Destiny their first choice full backs? Romero a first choice CB?

Sarr, Bissouma, Kulusevski, Maddison, Johnson, Son, Solanke. All first choice players?

They are missing their best cb (VDV) and first choice keeper (Vicario) who, like Sanchez is for us, is debatable if he is actually better than their back up option. The rest, like Ben Davies, are back up players. Would be like us missing Disasi.

We are missing our captain and first choice fullback, as well as a first choice CB. So who's defence is actually missing the most players?

I am absolutely convinced we are going to lose.

Everything is in our favour. Guaranteed we lose.

Agreed. Spurs have only beaten City away in their last 6, losing to Ipswich in that process. They show up for big games, and Taylor this is ideal for him, away match he can twist the knife in with VAR instructed to interfere less.

Because we don't moan/fight/argue collectively like the dippers for example.

If we organised ourselves maybe he wouldn't be able to continue to ref our games with that much blatant bias against us. Big "if".

Have to credit them organizing those stings on, ah I forgot his name now, whoever that ref was. Very clever. Shame it did not happen to Taylor as well.

Maresca is being silly now, stating that Sanchez will start plus 10 others…Jorgensen deserves his chance and should stay in the team

"You only sing when we're winning, you only sing when we're winning, you only sing when we're winning.................

Sanchez GK, Manager Maresca, 2nd in the league. It's tough being a fan. You'll get there........... 😉

What?

It's been a long time since we were under pressure and competition against big teams.

Time to show what me made of!

Maresca can tell the media whatever he want but inside the meetings, he can demand from the players to keep their best.

We're looking good, we're playing good football and we are capable of winning this derby. Very excited for tomorrow, COME ON CHELS!!!

Regardless of what happens tomorrow, and with Taylor all results are possible, I think next week at home to Brentford is going to be one of, if not the, toughest game of the season for us so far.

One of the form sides in the league and dismantled Newcastle. They have got better without Toney. Very impressive.

Not so sure about that.

They've got one point away from home all season 🙂

Yikes did not know it was their home form thar has got them looking so good.

How odd. Is about time we beat them at home.

The biggest game of the season is here. And we all need to take on board @axman2526 infectious optimisim. Heed his words people, he is rarely wrong. We are playing a bottom half team with Fat Angela the one tactic pony, high line trapeze artist, as their manager. And Palmer will definitely want to put on a show before he is sold in the January window.

A Jackson hat-trick, costly for Jim but will put a smile on all our faces. Looking forward to Sunday. We hate Tottenham.

Last time I saw the Chelsea fan YouTube community so confident of a big win over a rival was... Man United Away....

Well they had humble pie to eat after that one. Let's see if they do tomorrow.

Match day! Tough game, away at Spurs. In the past few years, I think we can all agree that coming away from here with a point would be a decent result.

Funny how expectations change. We've gone back to the old days where every almost every game we play is a disappointment if we don't win.

Let's stay focused and get the win today.

cmon Chelsea

we are more than capable of a win, but a point will do for me as we can keep our momentum going.

That said i think we will score goals with their gung ho attacking style which Poste says he wont change.

2-1 Chels.
