January 17Jan 17 Seen too many different messages on banners pr3paired for this.Only one message.WLD BLUECO OUT!
January 17Jan 17 3 of my boys going for the protest, they make much more noise than I do these days. Not sure we will get blueco out but a change of strategy would be nice.COYB
January 17Jan 17 Author I decided not to go in the end, didn't want to go on my own and no-one else said they were going.
January 17Jan 17 Screaming Roman Abramovic aint gonna do anything. They need the message to focus on a realistic solution....accountability from the top.
January 17Jan 17 Fair play to those that took the time to attend, but overall it looks like a case of "apathy rules" ... a long way off the turnout that the Super League protest got ...

The moment Arsenal and Liverpool faulter, they will protest against the owners. The problem in the past is that FSG and Kronke haven't backed managers to invest and build winning squads. The moment they do, it works out. We cant even scream at our board for not spending. It's just been wasted. Fecking embarrassing. No one will have any sympathy for a club that spends 1 billion let alone 2.
January 17Jan 17 If any protest is going to make waves, it's going to need fans marching towards the Bridge Super League style. It doesn't seem like the fans are ready for that yet, and the Bridge being pretty much full proves that too.United have been protesting for over a decade and the Glazer's are still there. The only time the Glazers finally started taking notice was between 2021 and 2022, when protests started getting heated. Protests are going to need to be big, angry and well organised, really disrupt things. Singing the previous owners name and bringing a few banners isn't going to cut it.

January 17Jan 17 I thought it was supposed to be at the other gate same as the super league protest where the teams/owners arrive? Were they forced to move to stop them interfering with the teams arrival like last time or did I just get it wrong?

January 18Jan 18 From that video it looked like quite a young gathering. I wonder if many of them knew Chelsea before Abramovich bought the club.If I chanted ‘I want my Chelsea back’, I might be even further from wining a trophy than we are now.And that’s the thing with football and life, nothing stays the same.Anyway, I’m off to go and chant ‘I want my twenties back’ at myself. And I’ll get a great turn out because all of me is going!
January 18Jan 18 Fair play to everyone who went to the protest yesterday. Only thing that annoyed me was the chanting for Enzo Maresca, I'll never understand the affinity some people have with him. Crap football, no personality, no link to the club and below average results.

The question is what do you want next if they agreed to exit?As you say Scott a few banners isn’t going to cut it

Your comment on Maresca is interesting as most of course wanted him to succeed ( not all because some I genuinely feel wanted failure) but not one of our group are sad to see him go for the reasons you state. My Dad , God bless him, is now dead but he used to wax lyrical about the good old days and as my Mum used to remind him the days he was talking about was a time of two World Wars, extreme poverty, illness like Polio being rampant and a bunch of Germans lobbing bombs at the UK!
