I predicted a 0-0 before the game and if Fofana hadn't had to go off the pitch, 0-0 it would have been.

Although we weren't terrible, once again I had no faith that we would score a goal. Just never looked like happening. Too light weight and no sense of urgency. Garnacho was dreadful, why oh why did we sign such a useless no hoper? Complete waste of space.

Our best player and the one real positive was Hato. He played really well and at times took the ball forward better than anyone. Needs to start every game.

The amount of dross in the squad is something else all things considered.

The goal sums it up. Fofana who is meant to be the senior centre back, cant tough it out until half time to get his ribs checked, has to sit down and then go off (nothing wrong with him). Absolutley no organzition to temporarily play with 10 men, and then youve got Garnacho letting fernandez walk past him at a stroll and get his head up under no pressure.

Garnacho is one of the worse players ive seen for us, hopeless footballer, im actually struggling to see why he made it pro. No good qualities, wouldnt stand out at non league level.

Crazy we went into a ucl season with this.. 7 players for 4 positions - 2 of them less than 20 in gittens and estevao.. and spent money on garnacho..

Hato and Caicedo played well. We did deserve a draw. We havent scored in 400 minutes or something. We missed JowPedro.
Delap and Garnacho were dismal.

Before this season, I think 9 out of 10 comments on Garnacho on this forum were from me, calling him bang average and the most overrated in the league.

Simply a social media product. The real life version of an influencer that somehow made it to pro football. The football version of those Paul brothers, UFC fighters or whatever they are.

For every Palmer and Caicedo, these atrocious sporting directors have brought 10 bums like Garnacho, Gittens, Delap and the rest of buffoons in defence.
