Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager

I don't know anything about Barco tbf, but I agree with your views on Alonso and transfers etc.

There's some fanciful thinking that somehow Alonso can present a list of players he doesn't fancy much and the club will immediately sell them, and that Alonso will give a list of players he wants, and the Directors will go out and buy them . I see next season as basically yet another fresh start and some minor transfer policy adjustment.

It is rare for manager to come in and say sell a, b n c. You want to give player a chance.

Selling is usually more on the club and the player

I am curious if we continue selling player that is big part of our rotation. This is one of the most unique thing that we do as a club.

Gallagher, tried to sell Chalobah, madueke, jackson.

I understand if they are old, but none of this player were even 26.

If you needed even more evidence that Tosin is a club industry plant they desperately are trying to make work.

Xabi Alonso has reportedly selected 𝟓 “𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞” 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 at Chelsea he plans to build around:

James

Caicedo

Cucurella

Enzo

Tosin

If you believe Signor Romano.

Is it wrong for me to hope that the bellends have learned from their "bomb squad" shenanigans and won't openly reveal to the public they are trying to get rid of a sh*t player?

If Romano is correct (big if LOL) then I'm in the Alonso out camp 😎

Tosin, Cucurella and Enzo have too many weaknesses to their respective games for any serious manager to build a team around them.

Palmer and Joao Pedro seem notable absentees from the list, I imagine the underlying "hidden" message of this latest PR brief is that they are being sold 🤠

This Romano character is full of sh*t yet people hang off of his every word like he is some sort of transfer guru who has insider knowledge.

He just makes it all up as he goes along, seriously anyone of us could come up with the type of nonsense he spouts.

Speculation=im guessing = I’m making it up.

Me thinks Fabrizio Romano knows nothing and is talking complete bo**ocks.

Hes just a massive bullsh*tter who throws out vague nonsense that he can easily back up/row back from in the future, and it annoys me that so many people keep falling for it.

I think the factor there is he's just selected the 5 leaders in the squad.l

Tosin is sh*t on the field but he's well liked in the dressing room.

That just screams - we need more leaders, please dont lose any.

So Fabrizio, knowing what the world knows (we need experienced older players) has listed 5 older players and came out with this nonsense for views or clicks or likes or whatever these people crave or earn from.

Maybe Alonso might want to spend 5 mins in our dressing room before deciding who the leaders are.

He's such a forced leadership figure by the club. I've never seen a player so sh*t be in such a pivotal position to lead a group of players. Explains the absolute state we are in.

Again, I just hope this is just BlueCo PR learning from their bomb squad nonsense and that we don't reveal our hand too much in getting rid of players. Bloke should be among the first to go.

How do you know?

Unc Tosin and all that.

Same way players looked up to Makelele except the Mak was actually good at football.

Some players are sh*t but liked, he's one of those. Just as long as he doesnt play i dont care.

Tosin is Cole Palmer's best mate and therefore i would keep him in the squad to keep Palmer happy. simple as that innit. Palmer shows up everyday for training and his mate is there and he feels good.

Yeah, unfortunately it's one of those signings that you keep around so your star player can feel embraced. Just like when we signed the Hazard brothers back then, or both Kaka and Donnaruma had their brothers signed by Milan. As long as he's kept like a 3rd goalie, playing exclusively in the Conference League, it's a minor offence... hopefully that's it though.

Alonso was interviewed in Spain and, when asked about the futures of Joao Pedro, Enzo and Cucurella and them being linked to moves away, said "this is the nature of football, but we will build a good team"

Well, it's not a proper interview but he was caught in a street of Madrid by a reporter and was asked about Chelsea and what he thought about the fact that players like Joao Pedro, Cucu and Enzo are wanted by other teams, and he replied what you say. As soon as they tried to follow up with a question about Real Madrid, he walks away.
